Hmm, I’ve been told (by you??) that the leftists didn’t want the reforms; thus, the reforms were good. The article above doesn’t even give a slight clue about the reforms, just drones on and on about anti-semitism which has nothing, nada to do with this issue.
I really need to read up on Israel’s judicial reforms. What they actually are versus what the media makes them out to be.
From what little I understand, the Israeli Supreme Court is very powerful, and leftists use it to further their agenda. There have been big protests and counter protests in Israel for some time about this. Naturally, the news here hates the judicial reform.
Do you, or does anyone, have a link to Trump’s new ad that has an ominous voice talking about “if I was the deep state” listing all the bad things the Bitem administration is doing? I located it very recently and can’t find it, other than as part of a Rumble video. I’d like the ad by itself, to spread around. The judicial reform intends to remove the Court's unchecked power through a series of six(?) Bills; one step at a time.
The Knesset just passed the first Bill. Bibi signed it.
Ironically, the Court can now strike down this new law that chips away some of its power by declaring it unreasonable.
Israel has no checks & balances among its Gov. branches as we have in the U.S. [on parchment only, since rampant corruption].
