Distressing bodycam video captured the moment police in Westchester County fatally shot a man accused of stealing fruit – which his father described as a “modern-day lynching.”
Three New Rochelle cops — identified as Kari Bird, Gabrielle Chavarry and Detective Steven Conn — confronted Jarrell Garris, 37, at a grocery store on July 3, according to Fox News.
“What were you doing in the store? You were eating the food?” one of the two female cops asks Garris as he walks away.
Conn tells Garris he is under arrest, but he begins to struggle with the officers as they try to handcuff him.
“Tase him! Tase him! Tase him!” Conn yells.
“He’s got a gun! He’s got a gun!” the cop then yells as Garris appears to place his hand on the belt of one of the officers.

Yes looks like 2 smaller women, and a guy from what I could see.. and of course they were basically incapable of handling this bigger guy when he resisted.
Clearly he struggled, and resisted, I’d have to watch it more than once to see if I see anything showing him reaching for an officer’s weapon, I didn’t see anything when I watched it through but a lot of action was out of shot... But clearly someone thought he had a gun and fired.
I don’t see this as a lynching. If anything I see it as a good reason women by and large probably should not be beat cops... they had no chance of subduing this man quickly once he started to resist.

Always females. Just like the “i can’t breathe” illevgal cigarette seller - when a black female NYPD sergeant ordered a choke hold, and another incident in which 7 cops shot a man with a knife 50 feet away, like 70 times - when the female supervisor fired first for no reason at all.
Because the general citizenry either elects, or allows a fraudulent election to select, the weak, venal, narcissistic, greedy, kkkommiecrats among the populace, instead of the best and brightest. And that sorry ‘leadership’ leaks down into the types that are hired by or control the various institutions; education, media, LE, and etc. Just my opinion.

Wealthy Jewish people in the (quite lovely) northern part of New Rochelle. City also has some very nice homes along the Long Island Sound. Areas near downtown or near the border of Mt. Vernon can be quite rough.

Rob and Laura Petrie lived in New Rochelle. My the neighborhood has changed. The library is called Huguenot Library. Rochelle was a Huguenot stronghold in France. About half the settlers in New Netherlands were Huguenot and many of the towns in the Hudson Valley are Huguenot.
New Rochelle is just north of the Bronx, what used to be the “good” part of the Bronx.
