It Just Keeps Getting Laughably Worse! Bud Light Hit Again With A Wave Of Embarrassment After Another Twitter Roasting

Seriously, man … how embarrassing can one company get?

For over three months since its partnership with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney, beer giant Bud Light has been getting rocked with embarrassment on a daily basis.

For both Bud Light and its umbrella brand Anheuser-Busch, sales have completely tanked. And speaking of that umbrella, it’s been getting slammed with heavy rain as Anheuser-Busch’s stocks have come down as well. And what’s been A-B’s plan in an attempt to get out of their Mulvaney disaster?

To just simply act like nothing ever happened.

Instead of just owning up to their stupidity and issuing an apology to America, Bud Light has been on one heck of a social media campaign on their Twitter, hoping that tweet after tweet after tweet … after tweet … digs them out of the hole. And it’s failing in absolute flying colors.

Like I’m not even joking with you … as soon as Bud Light sends out a tweet, users hop on it like flies on crap just to flick dung of embarrassment at America’s favorite beer the traitorous beer brand.

And it’s happening again, this time with a tweet that reads “the best beer is an open beer” with a GIF of a Bud Light can being opened.

Check out the torching:

God … Bud Light is so cringe at this point.

And with where we’re at now, I don’t know how Anheuser-Busch recovers. I know for me, I’ve moved on to Twisted Teas, my wife drinks Truly now and several of my colleagues ditched Bud Light for High Noons — which is another brand I’ve gotten fond of. And my fellow Americans are obviously doing the same thing. Literally every time I go to the grocery store or a shop, their Bud Light (and Budweiser) stock is always full to the maximum.

Anheuser-Busch’s reign in America is over … as a matter of fact, they should just leave.

BYE!

From what I understand, AB-Inbev is keep it quiet. For example, they quietly fired that marketing dingbat and the person who hired her in the first place. They’re not issuing the apologies, because if they did, all the Frank N. Furters (A Scientist) and other assorted feral weirdos will cause REAL trouble for them.

So they’re hoping they can quietly ride this one out while making minor adjustments to their advertising. But judging by their recent ads, it’s also like they simply can’t help themselves, because some of them may be quite woke as well.

Bud has recently been running ads telling everyone how much they support veterans. That’s a noble cause, to be sure. But it looks self-serving because it is self-serving. And it reminds folks once again what a jerk company Anheuser-Busch is.

Here’s my suggestion to them. Keep on supporting the vets. But do it quietly. And don’t run any ads like for a year. Then slowly start to build the brand back.
That’s probably their best shot.

The hilarious part is, the solution is so obvious any one of us could more than likely turn it around, but they keep doubling down over and over........it’s like watching a drunk dude continually punch himself in the face and expecting it to knock someone else out........it really does defy logic. SMH

I think InBev is letting ChatGPT manage their advertising strategy.

Didn’t they really give micro brewers hell, in that they limited the ability of independent distributors to distribute anyone’s beers except their own?

No. Their best shot is to fire the entire executive suite and marketing department and to issue an apology by an advertising campaign. Their loss of market share is way more damaging than upsetting some stupid ESG scoring website.

It’s a myth that they fired her.

Seriously? I heard she was initially suspended, but then the company ultimately fired her and the person who hired her.

Was at Costco over the weekend. All brands of beer were selling cases very well - except for Bud Light, which was barely touched.

I stood about 20 ft. away from the area and watched as shoppers walked by. Virtually every single one of them either got a smirk on their face about the brand and/or openly mocked Bud Light to whoever they were with.

This isn't going away soon...

My next door neighbors are from Honduras, and they drink Bud Light, but they don’t keep up with American cultural phenomena.

Price is their reason.................

“Owning up to stupidity” is not going to work. AB has essentially made known that their core values do not include familiy values and general civility. It is in their nature to be mendacious, not merely “stupid.”

You’re certainly right about that. But that’s something the idiots in charge would never consider. The best an A-B shareholder can hope for is for them to keep their mouths shut.

No more silly commercials. No more silly tweets. Hunker down, and try not to draw any more incoming fire.
