US Denies Mexico’s Request to Extradite “Mini Lic” Dámaso López Serrano

The United States Government has denied the extradition to Mexico of Dámaso López Serrano, “El Mini Lic,” to try him for the murder of journalist Javier Valdez Cárdenas. Javier was the founder/editor of Ríodoce and was killed on May 15, 2017, in Culiacan, Sinaloa.
Since 2020, the Attorney General of the Republic of Mexico obtained an arrest warrant against him and requested his extradition. He was released in 2022 after a US Federal Court in Southern California determined that he had cooperated and had already served his sentence in a maximum security prison in the United States. “El Mini Lic” spent 72 months in prison.
According to information from the FGR, the US government denied the extradition, arguing that there was no need to extradite him. After the refusal, the Prosecutor’s Office resubmitted another formal request for extradition, so the process has begun again and they are awaiting a response.

Mexico still has Ovidio Guzman, Chapo’s eldest son, in custody and, as of today, hasn’t accepted the U.S. request to extradite him. So with this denial by the U.S. and the poor US-Mexico relations, due to FJB, will be worth a watch to see if Guzman is ever extradited to US or will he be a political pawn in US-Mexico relations.

They agreed to host ‘an African leaders’ peace mission’ in Moscow and Kyiv
Vladimir Putin and Volodymyr Zelensky have both agreed to separate meetings with a delegation of African heads of state to discuss a possible plan to end the war in Ukraine, according to South Africa’s president.
Cyril Ramaphosa spoke with his Russian and Ukrainian counterparts by phone over the weekend, a spokesperson for his office said. They agreed to host ‘an African leaders’ peace mission’ in Moscow and Kyiv respectively.
The leaders of Zambia, Senegal, Congo, Uganda and Egypt plan to join Mr Ramaphosa on the mission, the president said. He added that Mr Putin and Mr Zelensky gave him the go-ahead to ‘commence the preparations’.
No details were provided on the possible parameters of the talks. Mr Zelensky has previously said he would not consider a peace deal to end the 15-month war until Russian forces withdraw fully from Ukrainian territory.

According to one of the NATO officers who provided headquarters support for counterattacks on the flanks of the Bakhmut group on May 12, Ukraine suffered one of the biggest losses since 2014 - 1,725 people were killed.
The strikes of the 2nd Azov brigade on the southern flank and two mechanized brigades and one motorized rifle battalion on the northern flank were stopped, and the losses amounted to one regiment.
Our sources in the Armed Forces of Ukraine shared the details of the destruction of the Patriot air defense system at Zhuliany airport .
In total, there were three launchers in the positional area.
One was destroyed, the second was seriously damaged, but survived. The third launcher escaped damage.

America is pissed. Trump is pissed. I’m pissed. And all rightly so after the release of the Durham report.
How do we get our country back and our duly elected POTUS?
The “missteps” Durham said have been fixed are still in place (don’t kid yourself).
The FBI needs to be completely shut down and it must happen in any new administration that enters the WH. Ideas about reform are fine but not until a complete shut down occurs.
All party’s political candidates running for POTUS must have the complete restoration of faith in the federal government as their top priority. No more games.
And people that committed crimes such as treason and/or sedition against the American people must be held accountable (all of them). There will be no statute of limitations and no rocks to hide under.
My lawsuit against the DOJ and the EOP (and others) aside, if the DOJ doesn’t go after those who perpetrated these crimes (including the current POTUS), we no longer have a system of Justice that is responsive to the needs of the American people. The Rule of Law that I fought for will be dead.
We either have a fair, unbiased and functioning justice system or we live under the yoke of tyranny ruled by a small group of oligarch elites who want to dictate how we will live as a nation.
Wake up America!
