The Biden Administration is going to pass mandates for dim bulbs in all American households (aka LED lights). The Administration has currently filled all it's cabinet secretary and director positions with dim bulbs which are not technically LED bulbs but are of similar low output.
Failed former Mich Governor Jennifer Granholm thought up this nonsense all on her own. Receiving no press or adulations from the American people Jenny came up with this plan to ruin the eyesight of the American people with this LED mandate. Jenny has mandated that by July 2023, light manufacturers will have to quit manufacturing all other types of light bulbs and manufacture and sell only LED bulbs. Although they will cost 10 times more than previous light bulbs, the 10% for the Big Guy will be included in the price.
In other unrelated news, Senator Fetterman's home has been raided by the FBI, under red flag laws, to seize his firearms. As a mental patient he is prohibited from possessing firearms based upon a complaint by his wife and neighbors.
“Biden Administration Mandates Dim Bulbs (Safe and Effective Satire)”
Biden Administration is full of Dim Bulbs
There fixed it
Ordering dim bulbs from Red China fills the coffers of Granholm and The Peoples Liberation Army. (PLA).
Dim bulbs
The WH is full of them ....
LOL, love it!
I love that “Safe & Effective!”
Sounds like something Steve Martin would have said in a skit.
Today’s 4/2.
IIRC, some one made 59 watt bulbs when the push came to get rid of 60 watt ones. DOH!
“but are of similar low output.”
LED bulbs are not low output.
Well his administration sure has them.
Can’t get any dimmer than the Biden Admin
This is completely consistent with the Biden administration wanting to keep Americans in the dark.
LED bulbs are great for the most part. They’ve got the warm colors nailed now. Great range of colors and temperatures. Shouldn’t be mandated though. They are the best choice for most now. So superior to that garbage CFL crap. Great dimmable range too.
I’ve been using LED bulbs for about 15 years now. I would never go back to incandescent bulbs. Same with my vehicles. All of them have LED headlights and tail/brake lights. I would never buy another vehicle with halogen headlights.
Well, if your LED headlights actually have proper beam patterns properly aimed (most new cars do, but only 2-3% of aftermarket LED headlights qualify), and are not over a 3500k color temperature, and are not over 20% brighter than a fresh std. halogen headlight bulb, then I won’t cuss at you when approaching from the other direction at night.
(This assumes you didn’t leave your high beams on, which is always good for a word or two.)
At home I’ve mostly switched to LED’s, but reliability of many brands has been disappointing. Generally GE, Philips, Osram, and Cree have been good, for me.
All my vehicles have factory LED headlights. And except for my truck, they have auto-dimming high beams.
