A Rap DJ is blown away by Roy Clark's skill on the guitar. He has since become a huge Roy Clark Fan.
Indicative of nothing except perhaps there is hope for this world after all.
A Rap DJ likes music?
Hooda thunkit?
I have watched some of his videos.
I truly enjoy watching people being exposed to new genres or artists they have never heard with “reaction videos.”
He is a very open minded person and really seems to appreciate many artists.
I was introduced to hum due to “Home Free” reactions. Home Free is one of my favorite Acapella groups :)
Thanks for posting and Happy Holidays
Don’t forget Jim Stafford, part of that same fun loving crew.

Know what?
I think it is a good thing.
I truly appreciate that a young black rapper can appreciate different artists’ talents and different genres, and he is introducing them to people who would likely never see them otherwise.
I think it is unifying, and Lord knows we could use more of that these days.
Me too. I wonder what he would think of Charlie Pride?
Well, he takes suggestions ;)
I have impressed by the open-mindedness of young adults listening to different genres.
I think the media and swamp/pols/academis want to divide us, but in real life, I don’t see nearly as much of the divisiveness.
I believe he played 17 different instruments, self taught IIRC.
Those who were famous when our generation was growing up, were famous for good reasons. Today, not so much.
It’s an extra thrill when the new upcoming generations discover what we already knew. YEE HAW!!
I’m a big fan of the group RUSH. Always fun to see folks on these reaction videos discover them.
Here’s a short 12-string guitar solo by Alex Lifeson in the middle of their 3-hour long rock and roll concert.

I’ve read the Roy was a session man for years but went solo out on his own because he was such a miserable SOB nobody wanted to work with him anymore.
I admire that.
Bkmk
..!..
I always preferred Poco to the Eagles
Yep. Roy and Buck. “I’m pickin’! And I’m grinnin’!”

Dick Dale and Stevie Ray Vaughan

Glen Campbell, Roy Clark, Dire Straights, the list goes on...
ICBW, but could the abdication of the king and the declaration of the second Spanish republic in 1931 have had something to do with it?
just a guess...
I subscribe to his YouTube channel. I asked him to look at this guitar player. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TjHPBFy8K8E
It’s Tommy Emmanuel from Australia.

Great video, thanks for posting. Though I did get sidetracked into watching a few Charo videos. That woman can play.
Just shows the level of ignorance in this country.
Also proof that rap music is a great divider in society, making the stupid more stupid.
Roy Clark is a Master of every musical instrument that has at least one string on it.
Who do you think Eddie Van Halen watched as a kid?
