Pam Grier is always prepared. “I’m always ready for an emergency,” Grier, 73 told Rolling Stone. “Clothes, keys, boots by the door in case of an earthquake. A backpack with extra water. Anywhere I go, I have a fire extinguisher in my truck, in case people throw a cigarette out the window. And a 20-inch chainsaw, oiled and ready to go.”
And that chainsaw is on hand for any scenario, including cheating men, according to the actress.
“I’ve seen them take their rings off in the elevators when I step in. You think you slick? You think you’ll come home and I’ll take care of you? … Because I’m gonna’ cut your -–- up, -------. Don’t worry about my guns. Worry about my chainsaw.”

I carry a 12” electric, in a plastic tote.
I was surprised by thd power and battery life.
Very impressive.
Cut through 18” logs, with it.
Misandry.
Lets replace men with women and see how they respond to the article.
They’d lose their little minds.
My late wife did it, until her MS made hand-eye control at that level impossible. She left behind a huge pile of fabric and thread that was donated to the local craft store for sending to third world peoples, and about a half dozen half-finished projects that were given to others to finish, but I have never seen the projects since.
“Man, back in her day she was as good looking as they came.”
Yep.
It takes a certain kind of person to do it well.
I had an aunt who was obsessive about it. She did the family coats of arms, details from ancient art, and even upholstered an entire antique Victorian chair in it. (That was on top of making all of her own haute couture clothes, crocheting entire tablecloths, and any number of other things I wouldn’t even attempt.)
I salute anyone who can do needlepoint well. My first and only attempt turned out hopelessly warped :-)
Kareem Abdul-Jabbar when he converted to Islam in 1971 —
Damn, carrying a torch 50 years for LEW-IS.
I think dialogue such as Pam’s or even Dolly Parton’s at their ages is little over the top.
I’ve seen several recent Dolly Parton videos and shorts, the new old woman shtick is...she always stands up and puts her hands under her rack and makes a comment something “and these here are real!”
It’s kinda weird.
And now Pamela, wanting to kick some serious ass with a chain saw.
Enlightening to be sure...
Li- ion chainsaws are nice and will not hesitate to rip your —- up.
“WAIT RIGHT THERE AND DON’T MOVE while I try to start my $(@-?!;& chainsaw...”
Love her!! Jackie’s Brown is a favorite of mine.
Foxy Brown don’t mess around!
I find the FReeper Fantasies into medieval macabre methods of tortuous death dealing more enjoyable if for nothing other than the “I can top that” value.

What, no duct tape and handcuffs?
Pam Grier was also in ABOVE THE LAW...She played a Chicago PD detective who worked with Detective Nico (Steven Seagal)...She is about to retire from police work...Then she gets into really dangerous situations because of Detective Nico...
Bridget Fonda was also in the movie...
