The authorization of reparations creates a blackhole of never ending payments.
If we consider reparations to black people (specifically descendants of African slaves) it opens the door for all descendants with real or imagined oppression.
If we do the blacks, how about the descendants of Chinese that were imported and oppressed by the railroads and society in general.
How about the descendants of Native Americans (Indians, First Peoples, etc.). Even if they were given horses, wheels, refrigeration, pickup trucks, jeans, cowboy hats and boots and Casinos, they were surely oppressed and their descendants deserve compensation.
Then there were the Italians, Irish, Polish, Jews, Puerto Ricans, Mexicans, etc. who were all oppressed at one time or another have descendants that require reparations.
Has your tribe lined up to raid the public treasury?
I don’t know for sure, but weren’t the Irish treated rather poorly too?

We already know where Trump stands on this issue and unfortunately, he’s all for reparations as evidenced by the $500 billion “Platinum Plan” he promised to pass as part of his 2020 re-election campaign.

You forgot about royalties. Whites and Western civilization have committed sins and must pay. But how about the other side of the ledger? White people and Western civilizations have added good things that benefit all peoples, including the people of color who we have wronged - like, all our medicine, science, democratic government, concept of civil liberties enshrined in the Bill of Rights, music, art and much more

any reparations paid, should be paid in the historical order of the offenses.
I want my reparations:
From the Romans for enslaving my European Ancestors
From the Vikings for invading Ireland and Scottland
From America for discriminating against my Irish Ancestors
From Northern States for the property stolen from my ancestors without compensation after the civil war.
From Northern States for the war crimes committed by the North against my ancestors in the South.
And my children need reparations for their ancestors on my wife side that died to free the blacks
After I and my children get all those reparations, blacks can get theirs.
Yes, a reparation of several hundred thousand dollars is in the offing.

If Reparations are given, rest assured someone will break out a pair of “bones” and many will be broke in two weeks and demanding more!
Even if restricted to one skin shade, it will never end. Children born after the first payment will clamor for the same money that other people got. Heirs of the dead will complain that the deceased one didn’t get the money which they would be inheriting.
It will never end, and that’s the plan. The idea is to create a never ending flow of money from Whitey’s wallet to non-Whitey’s EBT card.

E. G. President Obama is not descendent of slaves, but descendent of slave owners.
Descendant of slave owners is even e.g. Kamala Harris and many other African Americans.
Of the other hand Cornelius Vanderbilt, the richest man in late 19 century was descendent of Indentured servant and also has some African ancestors.
So it looks like Obama’s should pay Vanderbilt’s reparations.
