FOX 5 reports gunshots erupted Saturday around 8 p.m. following a “dispute between a group of teenagers and young adults” near Atlantic Station, in Atlanta, Georgia.
One person was killed in the incident and five others wounded.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution notes that the shooting occurred after “a group of people were escorted off the property by Atlantic Station security and off-duty Atlanta officers.”

LOL - my retarded criminal neighbors continually say they want “discussion” with me. I have to listen to it all the time, literally all day and all night. “We just want to discuss your men-o-paws with you, Kris-TEEEEEE!!!” (this in a whiny voice)
So every so often I lean out the door and say, “OKAY, I’VE GOT A COUPLE OF MINUTES. LET’S HAVE THAT DISCUSSION! COME ON OVER!” And nothing happens of course.
Then I typically say something like, “OF COURSE YOU B****ES DON’T WANT A DISCUSSION, DO YOU??? YOU JUST WANT TO GET SHOT!!!” (Mr K - not the one on this forum - is not a big fan of this type of discussion, although every once in awhile he will have an extra beer or two and tell them to eff off.)
I predict that in the future, every discussion will involve someone getting shot. It’ll become a little tradition that makes the holidays even more interesting than they already are.
(Note: The local law enforcement guys are clearly in favor of someone getting shot. I always hope it will be today.)

Much of this can be traced back to LBJ’s cynical and ruinous “Great Society” programs. Destroy the family unit, and pretty much everything goes to hell.
As a side note, Trump was the best friend blacks could have had in the White House. Trump wanted to bring industry back to America. There would have been good-paying factory jobs in the inner cities once again. Urban blacks would have benefited greatly from that: folks with pride and money can build stable families.
The cops who kicked them out should have frisked them and taken their guns.
How about “people who annoy you”?

I was stationed in Albany GA in the early ‘70s. Loved driving up and visiting Underground. It was rough in a kind of an exciting, Wild West way. Last time I was there, oh 10 years ago, it was a dreary mall. Now, you couldn’t get me to go there with armed bodyguards.
Atlanta’s headlines are starting to mimic Chicago’s. “Eleven shot, 2 killed”, “Body found in Gas Station Parking Lot”, etc.
There is no way I would even drive through Atlanta these days, much less stop there for gas.
True, but I think the hit/kill ratio was better than the Chiraq average, where it always seems like 20:1.
I used to go there occasionally after it was built: The crack/rap/urban lifestyle made the working people, law abiders and families leave and not want to go back. It is a nice development but the tribal leaders who govern the city are too corrupt and IQ challenged to fix anything.

Totally agree. I’m sick of this “Amish” or “Mormon” stuff - although the Mormons were very violent in their distant past, btw.
But right now this is a black problem, although at its core, it is really a moral problem that affects a small but very self-segregated group of people. Unfortunately, the only influence that seems to penetrate is the amoral influence and cynicism of the Democratic Party.
It’s a moral problem, and while everybody in the US is suffering from it, it’s particularly intense among lower income black folks and the black churches and preachers (most of whom are just Dem politicians going undercover) are doing nothing about it. All they want is another handout from the Dems, they don’t care how many of their parishioners’ grandkids are busy shooting their other parishioners’ grandkids.
Or how many women these “babies” (a word which appears to cover anybody to about the age of 40) are abusing, how many fatherless government-supported children they are leaving behind, or all the crime brought by them that has destroyed their own neighborhoods.
It’s not white people that are doing it...well, not the average white person. But still it must be acknowledged that some whites are indeed making money off of black dysfunction...music producers promoting violent, hate-filled rap and violent sexual videos, for example, television and media companies, even sneaker and clothing companies. They have all promoted the thug look as being quintessentially black and cool.
Not to mention the complicity of lots of politicians.
This issue can only be addressed by other black people, and it’s got to be done as a moral issue. Which it is, and probably the most urgent one at the moment, because it also shows the degree to which we have broken down as a civilization.
