Totally agree. I’m sick of this “Amish” or “Mormon” stuff - although the Mormons were very violent in their distant past, btw.

But right now this is a black problem, although at its core, it is really a moral problem that affects a small but very self-segregated group of people. Unfortunately, the only influence that seems to penetrate is the amoral influence and cynicism of the Democratic Party.

It’s a moral problem, and while everybody in the US is suffering from it, it’s particularly intense among lower income black folks and the black churches and preachers (most of whom are just Dem politicians going undercover) are doing nothing about it. All they want is another handout from the Dems, they don’t care how many of their parishioners’ grandkids are busy shooting their other parishioners’ grandkids.

Or how many women these “babies” (a word which appears to cover anybody to about the age of 40) are abusing, how many fatherless government-supported children they are leaving behind, or all the crime brought by them that has destroyed their own neighborhoods.

It’s not white people that are doing it...well, not the average white person. But still it must be acknowledged that some whites are indeed making money off of black dysfunction...music producers promoting violent, hate-filled rap and violent sexual videos, for example, television and media companies, even sneaker and clothing companies. They have all promoted the thug look as being quintessentially black and cool.

Not to mention the complicity of lots of politicians.

This issue can only be addressed by other black people, and it’s got to be done as a moral issue. Which it is, and probably the most urgent one at the moment, because it also shows the degree to which we have broken down as a civilization.
