Jay Leno is in a burn center after suffering a serious injury to his face ... TMZ has learned.
Jay was in the L.A. garage where he stores his cars on Sunday when one of the cars erupted into flames without warning. Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ ... the flames burned the left side of Jay's face, but thankfully did not penetrate his eye or his ear.

I seen him crawl under his Stanleys Steamers and light them. They then to burp flames if the fuel pressure is too high. His Dobles and White steamers didn’t seam to have such a dangerous lighting procedure. Probably loss some eyebrows.

Not likely. Sources say it was a gasoline fire. And I’ll bet that with all his very rare cars, he wouldn’t risk putting a fire hazard car in the same building.

So yeah, probably just some bad luck.
I had a fuel line on my 67 Camaro 6-cyl start leaking gas all over the exhaust manifold. By some good luck it did not catch fire.
I hope he recovers quickly with no scarring.

I had a 73 wagon go up on me but it was my fault.
Distributer in backwards caused the carb backfire and released the fuel line.
Good times.
Unfortunately for FR’s “EVs cause every fire” cult it was a gasoline fire according to Jay:
