This just in: We have our first Woke corporation that can’t stand the idea of Americans having free speech on Twitter.
GM has temporarily suspended ads on Twitter after the Elon Musk takeover, as reported by CNBC.
So it begins.
Dad must not have been paying much attention. There was a “GM Death Watch” internet site (by Bob Farago) years before. GM was lucky that Obama had won the WH so they got a bailout, otherwise it would have been carved up in bankruptcy.
GM is ableist. They hate on Musk because he has Asperger’s syndrome. Not very PC.
be real please.....tesla and gm are competitors....
Big opportunity for Ford and Chrysler
As long as Dems run the regulatory process, the march toward EVs is going to continue on a forced basis.
I’d hate to be a product planner at the car companies, because in 27 months when Trump is POTUS, the whole thing will be turned around again.
Yes. 1 new battery from Chevy dealer for $198.
Plus 4 new tires at 60k miles. That is it. Still had everything original but I worry about the drive belt.
I installed the new battery myself, located in trunk. But when I removed the old battery, I should not have closed the hatch back door. It got locked and there was no way to open it since there is no key hole in the hatch door. I had to use a small screw driver to trip the lock open through a tiny hidden hole on inside of door.
The same corporate scum who want an all-electric GM fleet by 2035.
Not buying their scummy cars anyway.
Always kind of wanted a Camaro - but the opportunity never arose.
I hope they were the old Camaros. :)
Mine’s a 67.
First year production, although 11 months in.
I drove two Chevrolet Cavaliers that did pretty well. One, bought in 1989, lasted about 13 years until a major transmission repair estimate prompted me to go ahead and buy the next one. That one lasted from 2002 to 2008, when it was totaled in an accident that actually shut down a major road and gave me and my boss a side trip to the emergency room.
My latest new vehicle I bought was a Toyota. I didn’t buy Chevy because of the purple lipped halfrican. Do they want to continue down that road? And don’t mention the UAW bribe that Barry was overseeing.
Government Motors has been dead to me since 2000 when I foolishly bought a Pontiac Minivan.
Globalist wokesters. Knowing the enemy is 1/2 the battle. These worms operate in the dark.

GM does not believe in Free Speech? How fascist of an all American company. Pathetic!
My question was of a rhetorical nature. Of course those assholes didn’t repay that loan. I never thought that they would and I was correct.
My FIL had GM trucks for decades, and MIL had Olds sedans and then Cadillac sedans.
After my FIL got tired of the 2nd Cadillac sedan always needing something, she’s now driving an Avalon.
86 Z28, 97 Z28 and an 02 SS Still have the 02 SS and baby the daylights out of it. Was meant to be a replacement for the 97 (bought it used in 2009) but my grandmother passed and I got her V6 Mustang and that became my daily driver! Had to put that out to pasture last year and went with an Ecoboost Mustang. (again, daily driver)
Those appear to be a heckuva car for the money. As were the previous two generations, from what I can tell. Not my cup of tea, but the Bowling Green people seem to be doing things right.
Well they are in competition with Tesla, so I’m sure their stockholders could have some legal case against them for buying products from a competitor.
My ex-wife worked for the VP of PACCAR, the parent company of KW and Peterbilt and the corporate officers all had contractual clauses barring them from owning a competitor’s product.
