Yes. 1 new battery from Chevy dealer for $198.
Plus 4 new tires at 60k miles. That is it. Still had everything original but I worry about the drive belt.

I installed the new battery myself, located in trunk. But when I removed the old battery, I should not have closed the hatch back door. It got locked and there was no way to open it since there is no key hole in the hatch door. I had to use a small screw driver to trip the lock open through a tiny hidden hole on inside of door.

I miss MECHANICAL keys for cars. Our Avalon is fine, but it came with only one fob, which means we have to share instead of getting a $5 duplicate. I also like to keep the car unlocked and have valuables in the trunk. Can't do that now because new cars all have trunk release buttons.

Artery in the trunk away from all the under hood heat is the key.
My wife’s 2014 Camaro has the battery in the trunk.

Six months ago I thought her battery was going bad so I replaced it only to find out my problem was the alternator.

My exwife had a 2008 GM Suv with the battery in the floor under the middle row’s foot area behind the front passenger seat. We bought it used in 2014 and when she sold it last year, it still had the factory battery.
