Paul Ryan says Trump will not be 2024 nominee
Paul Ryan said he does not believe former president Donald Trump would be the GOP’s 2024 nominee for president.
The one-time Republican House speaker — who has had an acrimonious relationship with Trump — offered a blistering assessment Thursday during an interview with Teneo, a D.C. consulting shop where he serves as a vice-chairman.
“We all know he will lose, or let me put it this way: we all know he’s much more likely to lose the White House than anybody else running for president on our side of the aisle. So why would we want to go with that?” Ryan said.
“He’s going to try to intimidate people out of the race as long as he can,” Ryan continued. “Whether he runs or not, I don’t really know if it matters … He’s not going to be the nominee, I don’t think.”

He said the exact same thing in 2015. It’s just wishful thinking. He spent his 2 years as Speaker under Trump trying to block everything Trump wanted to do to improve the country.

In 2016 both fake wings of the Uniparty just assumed Trump would lose and they were happy to have Hillary so they sat back and watched. They were stunned when Trump won.
In 2020 they showed that they would do anything ... anything ... to make sure Trump didn't win again. "both" sides were in on it, as was the judiciary.
In 2024 they may go even further.

I hope. The ultimate, biggest middle finger that could ever be given to the left would be for Trump to win 2024 and that’s exactly what SHOULD happen. I like DeSantis but it’s not his time. The message HAS to be sent that the American people will not stand for Marxism in Government, and the best way to do that would be for Trump to win, let them cry, wail, protest, whine all they want.
