Hi there, I'm one of JimRob's FR FB Admins.

The Zuckholes just disabled our FR FB group.

FB is a democrat, communist organization.

I know many of you don't even use and actually shun and despise FB; actually Jim's main use for our FB forum is when the FR motherboard here goes down for some reason or another and we can gather there and get updates.

Anyway, our FB forum has been disabled, whether it will be re-enabled isn't known at this time.

I stand corrected. I think people are confused over the Chinese owned MeWe (TV Marketing, or something like that).

I have the MeWe app never use it but that could be an option, I used to use NextDoor app before I was banned many NextDoor folks moved over to MeWe to stay in touch!! NextDoor became as hateful as Twitter GEEZE these are people in your neighborhood literally being as HATEFUL as can be!! NextDoor of course banning ANYONE with a conservative viewpoint!!

Never used the TruthSocial app, either; I always just go there using my web browser. I’m running Brave on my phone (Samsung S6) and on my PC, and T/S never gives me grief about it.

The MeWe app gets daily use on my phone. I’m in a few Groups and have a few dozen Contacts that populate my feed. It’s great that MeWe doesn’t throw random junk in there like FB does.
On MeWe, you regulate your own Feed, and you can grant and revoke your Contacts’ ability to post to your Feed; effectively giving you a Mute button. The level of personal control is a huge win.

I have been on MeWe for a while, only joined the FR group there about 6 months ago, it was not clear if there was a Free Republic connection. Think I only looked at it once.

A backup is certainly necessary now.
