This Government Report Admits True UFOs Aren’t ‘Man-Made
MSN/Popular Mechanics ^ | Caroline Delbert

Congress made two startling claims. The first is that “cross-domain transmedium threats to the United States national security are expanding exponentially.” The second is that it wants to distinguish between UFOs that are human in origin and those that are not: “Temporary nonattributed objects, or those that are positively identified as man-made after analysis, will be passed to appropriate offices and should not be considered under the definition as unidentified aerospace-undersea phenomena,” the document states.

What does all this jargon mean, though? One key word in the congressional report is “transmedium,” a term the Pentagon has recently adopted for its UFO group that has emanated out to other agencies. This refers to technology that would be able to travel through different media, literally: space, air, and water are all media in this context. NASA’s moon-landing program launchers would technically count as transmedium because they blast through Earth’s atmosphere and then travel through space.

But that example itself shows why transmedium technology is so, well, alien. We’ve only barely scratched the surface of how best to travel through the atmosphere and then adjust and travel efficiently through space. Amphibious vehicles here on Earth usually go from motor propulsion on land to motor propulsion on the surface of the water—not from air travel to submarine. Even in Star Trek, flagships avoid having to leave orbit and enter planetary atmospheres.

The other interesting term is “cross-domain” or, for the Pentagon, “all-domain.” “Domain” is defense shorthand for battlefield or, in the 21st century, the “battle space.” During WWII, you would have seen analysis of domains in Europe like mountains or coastline, and those in Asia, like rainforest or dense city environments. Then there were domains in other mediums, including naval warfare (surface and submarine) and air warfare.

It is always shocking that people say, "the government needs to tell us what is going on with this or that."

Those parts of the government that know what is going on are, of course, the Pentagon and the intelligence community...and they ARE NOT in the business of telling us, the citizens, anything.

Our need to know, as citizens, is zilch, nada, nuttin'.

I heard a retired CIA officer say in a recent podcast regarding the government's position on sharing intel with the public, "tell a friend, tell an enemy."

Never said everyone was thinking extraterrestrial, I was commenting on those who do and I seriously doubt I’m the only one mentioning such a (silly) possibility.

My understanding is that Hynek was the director of the Air Force’s Project Blue Book that investigated UFO’s, as well as the originator of the terms “close encounters of the first, second, and third kind.” He even made a cameo in the movie.

After decades of research, his ultimate conclusion was that it was more likely that he unidentified objects were more likely local to earth, in the form of inter dimensional spirits, or beings, than something that had traveled light years to here from another planet.

I too find this more logical, as those of us who read the bible already know these spirits exist.

The extraterrestrial thing is mostly used as a straw man nowadays by skeptics (skeptics of what I don’t know...just generally negative people?).

Yep.

Speaking of the Bible, I heard retired CIA officer Jim Semivan in a podcast this week bring up the term "Annunaki."

Semivan is, by his own admission, not religious.

Bottom line: religious issues and the Bible seem to be mentioned more and more lately by people involved in examining the "phenomenon."

Not sure what that means.

if they have been able to scrutinize one of these UFOs, why aren't they over there taking out Putin?

See how that works?

Apparently my sarcasm needed to be explicitly marked as such, though you did allude that sarcasm may have been what I was doing. So, let me confirm that was the case there.

You somehow think that though I cannot "personally" understand the UFO (why you make your argument personal is curious), there are those who can.

You made the statement, and again I am paraphrasing, because I don't see it right now; Perhaps we wouldn't understand it..

It was just a response to counter your statement, as now you are speaking for others, as well as, your self. Thus I responded about you (but if I remember correctly I included the word may), and said others would most likely understand it.

How you reach the conclusion that our scientists MUST be able to understand a craft or some part of it in their possession (from who knows where) is curious, to say the least.

What I was saying is that is, if a craft had been found, regardless if they understand how it works or not, there must be some aspect about it for them to definitively conclude that it cannot be man made. For example, made of materials that include unknown elements that man is totally unaware of. There has to be some definitive proof of some kind for their statement to be reality and not mere supposition. If they have that, why not provide it?

Without that proof, I personally cannot accept statements claiming otherwise. As Fauci would say, it's anecdotal evidence, but not scientifically concluded evidence. Man I hate referencing Fauci, but unfortunately it fits in this conversation. 🙂

Thus I remain skeptical, yet I won't state that there are no other creatures not of earth either. Because it remains, to me, an unproven topic. 🙂

I completely understand.

Actually, I too remain unconvinced...just openminded about the whole thing (not saying that you aren't also).

Sorry I missed your sarcasm. I see it now that you mention it.

I will argue that until we learn to communicate with the various domesticated societies of honey bees, we can forget about “aliens”

Humans and bees have developed a symbiotic existence but have not learned to communicate

So, we went through all of that for nothing. Now that is funny, as well as, it was a fun exercise in debate. 🙂

I'm sorry that I was more explicit that I was being sarcastic. I was thinking my pivot to include something so off topic that would it would be evident, and actually you did hint that I might be kidding. I take that as you being sharp enough to see I may be throwing a curve ball there. 🙂

General Jesse Marcel would disagree.

Belief is one thing, but does he have definitive proof?

Heck, my dad believed that aliens existed, and he was no slouch either. I don't know if they exist or don't exist. I'll remain open-minded. However, when the government makes a definitive statement, I want them to back up that statement with proof. I mean, it's not like they have been completely honest for the last few years, have they? 🙂

Absent non existent proof, one can’t actually believe in aliens.

One can however believe in the possibility of aliens based on available evidence of the infinite magnitude of the universe. The new telescope increases the probability of aliens infinitely

Even telescopes have not presented definitive proof. I remain open-minded, but am not convinced by some statement without the proof backing it up. If they have that proof, bring it forward. In other words, stop with the BS, and bring forth the proof. 🙂

Again of the top of my head, I think the Annunakki and the Summarions are often interchanged when discussing them historically. It is believed that many of the supposed myths about them mirror stories in the Bible, such as the great flood. They are possibly an answer to Atlantis, or tied to the many remaining Egyptian mysteries, as well.

One of the theories about UFO’s is of course the possibility they are an ancient race that developed the technology underground, and just periodically are seen when they come out for whatever reason.

Whatever we will seemingly be told soon about these mysteries, by the world’s governments, should be immediately questioned, especially if it appears the call the Bible or Our Lord into question, which I certainly expect.
