Sen. Elizabeth Warren criticized Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell’s Friday speech in Jackson Hole, Wyo., telling CNN Sunday that she is worried that the central banker’s planned interest rate hikes will cause unnecessary economic suffering for average Americans.

Would she rather have perpetual high inflation or hyperinflation? The only thing I'm surprised about is that the inflation chickens have taken so long to come home and roost. The Fed has been juicing the economy with artificially low interest rates since the dotcom bubble at the end of the 20th century. It's just most of the inflation has been isolated in housing and stock bubbles until now.

I wish I was being sarcastic but I think this is a pretty accurate assessment of her prior statements although she and Bernie are millionaires so they don’t use that term any more. Thanks to government driven inflation (spending) it does not mean much to be a “millionaire” now.

If we had an honest media, wouldn’t they ask the democrats WHY they are the party of billionaires? If the democrats are soaking the rich why do the rich donate almost exclusively to democrats? Why does Wall Street, K Street, and all of the banksters donate to democrats?
