Saw a post that said Mercedes cars go through cars like rice paper because of Engineering.
There is a down hill slope on that road but no excuse for going over 100 miles an hour. Some in the neighborhood can't believe there werent more cars in lanes stopping the speed before you even get to the intersection

Why such a high speed? Driver incapable of operating car due to medical? Drive running away? No attempt to stop or turn, just straight on at maybe 100 plus mph......
Also right before the crash you see driver putting an arm out the window for some reason. Reports an arm was found on scene but no details. Serves her right to lose her arm and more body parts.

I am dubious she is legit but the arm that was out of the window did appear black.
Sad to say, that it proves the invincibility of Mercedes in dar wrecks. If shw was strapped in, chances are she suffered little injuries other than maybe burns.

The Mercedes never even tried to slow down, even at the point of just before impact when a person’s natural inclination would be to hit the brakes. It appears to be intentional.
God bless those people who lost their lives. We never know when our time will be. Extremely sad about that poor baby.

25 years ago I was seeing patients in a medical office building when a lady drove full speed across the parking lot and crashed into the doctor’s office next to mine. The receptionist died. The driver survived.
Unfortunately people drive like idiots everywhere all the time. Defensive driving is essential, but it won’t necessarily save you from the plague of bad drivers.
Never trust drivers around you will do the safe thing. Driving is now more dangerous than ever.
Expect the unexpected.
Many are on prescription medication, on illegal drugs, are mentally enraged or distracted. Scan constantly when driving and keep looking at your mirrors.
There is little sense left of community responsibility when driving. There is now a common mentality “I own the road and everyone else is not important.”
Driving a vehicle on a busy city street at 100 mph becomes vehicular homicide when others die.
Of course the driver survived and others died a horrible death and were injured with horrible injuries. That’s the way it almost always goes.
So much of me wishes that the guilty party were one of the badly injured or dead in so many of these cases, instead of innocent people who paid for the other person’s recklessness.
