ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WGHP) — Thousands of people are reacting to a Facebook post from Asheville police showing a “threatening” email the department received shortly before the July 4 holiday.
**SNIP**
Dear Asheville Police Department,
We are tired of your lack of protection for the innocent civilians who are peacefully protesting. There have been multiple incidents where there have been immediate threats to the safety, security, and well being of the protesters, with Asheville Police Department having little to no response time. Due to the lack of safety and security provided by the Asheville Police Department, citizens have had to protect and deputize themselves. If Asheville Police Department does not ensure the safety of the protesters, then we, ANTIFA, will, at all costs. The ball is in your court. Here is your chance to show the city that you are the heroes you claim to be. If you fail to meet our demands, then we, ANTIFA, will continue our own ways and methods to keep the good people of this city safe. We will no longer put up with your oppression in ANY FORM. Due to your lack of safety and support, you have forced us to do your jobs for you. We will NOT allow you to tell us that what we are doing is wrong. If safety is what you truly want, then you will shape up and do your jobs correctly. This includes keeping peaceful protesters safe, whether they are armed or unarmed. If you continue to fail to protect protesters, we will continue to successfully do so. If you continue to harass us for doing so, you will be met with further action. This is your first and ONLY formal warning.
Sincerely,
ANTIFA

Asheville ran the old Honda Hoot motorcycle rally out of town many years ago. Asheville was a beautiful place for riding motorcycles and had some cool mountain tops on which to take refuge from the summer heat. The rally got too big due mostly to the location there in Asheville.
And…
Asheville takes another step towards being the Portland of the east coast…
Shining the light on them like done here is good.
Folks, find your flashlights.....................
P.S. defund the cops and kill pigs????
Funniest email I ever read.
We are way past flashlights, my friend.

Someone is funding these street punks.

Ah. Thanks. So those “burner phone” stories are off. As so many such stories are. I appreciate your taking time to answer my question.
Yep. Frank Rizzo of Philadelphia would have too.
And where is Frank Rizzo when we need him?
Six seconds. LOL
You may be onto something with your Prius vs Pickup ratio. In our neck of the mountains the pickups vastly outnumber all other vehicles, even counting out of state tourists. And this is obviously Trump Land everywhere you look.
And don’t you need a library card to use the computers?
four D cell maglite dual purpose variety
Burner phones when turned on, used once in a stationary position, and tossed, work fine to hide the person’s identity.
It is when you travel with it turned on where other data points can pinpoint you, such as a video camera on a highway, that the phone is now associated with you.
If you use the phone twice, same thing. You are participating in the process of elimination to identify you as the phone source. Example: You were at Point A and now you are at Point B and turn on your phone at each point and use it, so who traveled between those two points? Cameras, license plate readers, your car’s hidden cell phone (most new cars use Sprint to communicate) and other sources can pinpoint you as having been in those two places.
Hence, burner phones are a use once in one place and toss it.
Also, use once in one place means not in a place you ever go to. Ever. If you do go to a place you frequent, you become a prime suspect. Even if you pace with your phone as you talk, your movements give you away. “Who else goes there and paces with their phone? Hmm, he does.”
There is also no such things getting lost in the noise of data. An exabyte, or 1,000,000,000,000,000,000 bytes, or a million trillion bytes, can be searched in seconds. That would contain all the cells phones world wide and their tracking data captured every few seconds for over a year. You can never be lost in the noise. Make a mistake and you can easily be tagged.
If you are using burner phones, you’ll need to buy more than one.
It6 is more than that as evidence when the street punks simultaneously arrive in DC from CA and CO and OR and WA, etc. There is more than just taxpayer funding through leftists orgs. The funding and organization is known to the thoroughly corrupted fbi. And they enable it!
That makes sense. The “burner phone” trick must be for the real pro criminals who know to use it only once and at a location they have never been to or will ever go to again, then quickly dispose of it.
So they should be able to track down the Antifa nut who emailed that, unless Antifa has been getting pro tips on the burner phone thing.
Thank you!
Email is even easier to track. People who think VPN technology gives them anonymity have no idea that the world-wide governments already either operate those VPN services or have taps in each and every one of them. No one can send anything across the Internet and remain anonymous. Professional experience both in intel and commercial telecom talking. I’ve placed those taps.
That makes sense, too. Bad news for criminals and terrorists, but I guess also bad news for political dissidents from totalitarian countries.
I’ve never used a VPN and never felt the need to, but sometimes use one of those free proxies when I want to read an NYT or WaPo article. No way am I financially supporting either of those lefty publications.
