Florida education officials reject math textbooks over critical race theory
The Florida Department of Education has rejected a slew of math textbooks they say attempt to “indoctrinate” students through the inclusion of critical race theory and other prohibited subjects, officials said Friday.
The agency junked 41 percent of publisher submissions for a range of reasons — including “references to critical race theory” and adherence to federal Common Core standards.

They are stupid and insane. "Stupid" and "insane" have become their own political party. And they are powerful.
If conservatives aren't yet afraid enough to fight, we never will be. And when they're marching us into the ovens, we'll be wondering, "Maybe we shoulda said something."
Good point. That’s certainly a big part of the reason.
The other part, unfortunately, is an unwillingness to play to win.
Real math problem from some of the books.
Tyron is pimping three hoes. How many tricks ($100) has each of them do to support his $1000 a day drug habit.

Happy Easter.
The Left is highly emotional and committed to their ideology, but they are also crafty and determined. They don’t believe in moderation and always push their agenda too far. The party more often fights together than against itself.
“Our side” lacks purpose and conviction, so they refuse to fight. Aside from tax policies, the GOP never really fights for anything.
He's definitely not a Jeb Bush clone--that's why he's so popular here in the panhandle.
“ Tyron is pimping three hoes. How many tricks ($100) has each of them do to support his $1000 a day drug habit.”
It’s a fractions problem?
Or does each of them do a lesser service for $33.33?
7?
That is not supported by current mathematics, not yet.
“The Left is relentless and persistent.”
True. Great example of that was Marijuana legalization in California. Year after year it failed but the left just kept at it. Gay marriage is another good example.
This ping list is for the other articles of interest to homeschoolers about education and public school. This can occasionally be a fairly high volume list. Articles pinged to the Another Reason to Homeschool List will be given the keyword of ARTH. (If I remember. If I forget, please feel free to add it yourself)
The main Homeschool Ping List handles the homeschool-specific articles. I hold both the Homeschool Ping List and the Another Reason to Homeschool Ping list. Please freepmail me to let me know if you would like to be added to or removed from either list, or both.
Yep.
Liberals have the will but not the means to wipe us out, we on the other hand have the means and could end all this tomorrow, but we lack the will to put up anything more than moderate resistance here and there (Hell, just look at Football’s ratings, the vast majority of Conservatives can’t even turn the dam TV off for an afternoon).
Unfortunately, Advantage Libs
The only thing that will save us is Liberalism inevitably leads to horror, misery and famine. Many/most Conservatives can be self sufficient while Liberals are dependent on the government for everything and will turn on each other and/or starve to death when the end result of their policies finally arrives.
The answer to the equation is whatever the poor little minority boy/girl/it says it is eh?
I do not know.
Maybe, they just keep few bucks for themselves for food.
I just know, that this (I do not remember word by word, I am paraphrasing) was in one “racially balanced” math book for Chicago high schools.
Both those teams are flooding across our southern borders in anticipation. Heck, creepy joe is even giving them plane fare to the choicest spots in the country.
If Treshawn takes 85 watches in a smash-and-grab recovery operation and sells them for an average of $45 each, how much reparations did Treshawn recover?

Hahaha.
Some examples in the article of the objectionable CRT or SEL would have been helpful.
Ideally, there should be complete separation of school and state. Hopefully, vouchers, charters, and tax credits could move communities in that direction.
The government school system can not be reformed. Fundamentally, it is impossible to have a culturally, politically, or religiously neutral educational curriculum or environment.
Give it up.
Come next year, the GOP will Charlie Brown us all.
Awesome!
