Does anyone here breed kitties?
Just for my boa constrictor.
My favorite taco place when I was a kid, was closed down for serving cat meat.
We called cats “walking tacos” for years.
We’ve had a stray coming around last four months so I started feeding it. It took three months before I could pet it and that was minimal. Turns out it was pregnant and had the litter under one of the outbuildings. Babies are about two weeks old but I’ve not seen them. I want to have Mama spayed but thought I’d wait till the babies have opened their eyes not that I’ll know when that actually happens until Mama brings them out. Can anyone reading this give me a hint when it would be OK to spay Mama cat?
Intentionally?
Also interesting (to me), was that he liked watching Red Wing hockey on TV with me. Of course I don’t think he knew who was playing, he just knew I was watching hockey on TV. He was the farthest thing from a lap cat that you’ve ever seen. He would sit near me but objected kind of violently to being touched.
Other than my own two mutts, this is my current favorite cat:
(Don’t try this at home - Messi is a very special animal):

So you have the mama cat and her two kittens?
Cats choose you, not the other way round...
Cats are very intelligent. They just don't want you to know.
I have 2 of the 3 kittens. Momma and the third kitten hang around the barn
That is funny. And I like cats.
WE all have a chance to raise Viking Kitties.
Now. They usually are pregnant before the litter is independent
Best bet call the vet. Ask about the kittens too. The Tom will kill the kittens, if he finds them sometimes. I think that’s why the mom hides them. When my area shelter takes cats in they neuter them get them their shots and adopt them out for a price. It’s a little pricey adopting strays but most of my best feline and canine friends got to me that way. Good luck.
It’s simple: Let them out at night.
They are the sweetest kittahs and their price is through the roof.
I was interested in getting a Maine Coon a number of years ago. I went to visit the cattery and when I stepped inside the front door all the cats came up to greet me purring very loudly in unison. Because of the loud sound they made the owner named each one of the cats was after semi-trucks like Mack and Peterbuilt. They were beautiful, but I ended up getting a rescue Sealyham Terrier.
My experience is that they breed pretty much by themselves.
I do believe Jim & John Robinson breed Norwegian kitties, but you’ll have to confirm with them.
Intentionally, on purpose?
I try not to allow the barn cats to multiply. But there’s one cat, Gizmo, who is always pregnant. If I could catch her……..
