Chances are your local news affiliate has already reported on it happening in your neighborhood: criminals drilling into and draining gas tanks to steal the sweet, expensive nectar inside, leaving their victims with not only no fuel but also a hefty repair bill. It happened to one Pennsylvania woman, who said the thief stole the gas right out of her Nissan Rogue as it sat parked outside her home. There are similar stories coming out of California, too, and Missouri, and Wisconsin.

Shoot them on sight if discovered in the commission of the crime.
Better still, toss them a railroad flare.
Just another reason to get the EV everybody wants. NOT!
Equivalent to horse thieves???
And now there will be more...
Great! Catalytic converters and now this!
Gas, you can get 10-15 gallons at $5 a gallon.
Home heating oil or kerosene you can steal by the hundreds of gallons, and its a buck more than gas around here. Kerosene tanks are even outside. You just need a big enough tank to pump it into.
Hell, the Dems cannot seem to stop drilling their neghhnors or their neighbors wives!
No drilling in ANWAR = drilling in the Burbs.
They were doing this back in the 70s. I don’t remember them using drills then, though.
“...this has got to be one of the worst times to own a car maybe ever.”
No, but might be the worst time to have your garage so full of junk you can’t put your car away, if you have a garage.
When there are more EVs, will people figure out a way to steal the electricity? I bet they will, but not from the cars, from the utility company, as is done in 3rd world countries.
How soon before you can get a gas cap that looks like a pull out recharge cord with a label “conversion” on it.
I think back then you could still siphon.
Toss a match on them...........................
GMTA!..................
Wouldn’t it be just awful if the caused a spark and started themselves on fire?
You can’t now? I know a lot of people have locking gas caps, which seemed to become a big thing later. But I don’t know how gas tanks are made/operate now.
Nobody had cordless drills then, they were a specialty tool. Now you can pick one up for less than $40.
Yeah. Chargers on every sidewalk where people have to park. Because no thieves would ever think of stealing the copper or just have fun and vandalize them.
Rapper Cardi B. (to senile Sleepy Joe who actually "interviewed" her remotely while hiding in his basement during his basement campaign for U.S. President throughout 2020): "Hey, boo!"
Senile Sleepy Joe: "My name's Joe."
Cardi B. (smirked and chuckled because senile Sleepy Joe actually believed Cardi B. thought his name is "Boo Biden")
The guy's in a total fog 24/7/365 - thanks, Democrats/RINOs for that. "Fortunately," there are manipulators & handlers telling him what to do, what to think (if that's even possible for him to do), where to shuffle off to next, what to stumblingly read (from his Trusty Teleprompter), etc. The Ultimate Puppet "President" ...
