COLWYN BAY, Wales (WKRC) — A coroner report shows a personal trainer died of a caffeine overdose due to a measuring mistake.
Tom Mansfield, 29, had bought a 3.5 oz. bag of caffeine powder from British sports supplement company Blackburn Distributions.

The MG-B’s were the cool cars to have when I was in high school. I couldn’t afford one so I got the smaller, cheaper Triumph Spitfire. It was very small and very low to the ground. I remember one time when I was the first car stopped at a railroad crossing. The train was stopped in front of us. I looked at the tank car in front of us. I looked over at my friend and smiled...and said I think I can make it under the train, He said “NOOOOOOO! Don’t try it.” and pulled up the hand brake. I didn’t try but we had to wait at least 20 minutes before the train moved. I’ll never know if I could have made it but at least I am still alive.
I did buy a similar car a few years ago..just for fun, a Fiat Abarth Spider. I only have 600 miles on it, only drive it about once or twice a month when it’s not raining. It goes to my grand-nephew when I die...with instructions not to drive under trains.
In this case, a very accurate scale in grams was needed and apparently not used. There are some errors for which you don't get a "re do".
I’ve been a gym goer for 40 years and all the so called “personal trainers” I have encountered have been nothing but muscle heads with the intelligence of my Army drill instructor.
A cup of regular coffee can have anywhere from 25 to 500 mg. of caffein, depending on the type of coffee, how finely you grind it, and how strongly you brew it. Decaf coffee generally has 2 to 4 mg. of caffein.
An 8-ounce cup of coffee contains about 80 to 100 milligrams of caffeine.
Plus the countries that landed on the Moon did it using slide rules and "super-computers" with combined processing power of far less than your average smart phone.
Reminds me of the time my friend got a bag of chocolate coffee beans for Christmas at a party in Berkeley and then drove across the Oakland Bay Bridge to go home. While driving he was eating the coffee beans like potato chips and then stayed awake for two days. He said he was zonked out of caffeine for the next few days. Poor guy. Like hiking through poison oak at night and learning about the mistake in the morning.

I’ve heard so many reports of how bad Lucas was - but my 1965 midget still has all its original Lucas parts and I never had a problem in the 25 years I’ve owned it.
And when I go on MG forums, the actual owners of these antique cars don’t seem to be complaining either. They talk about what is the proper brake fluid, replacing worn out leaf springs, setting up the carburetors, stuff like that - but you don’t hear horror stories about the wiring.

Compared to the machines of today, extremely simple.
My daughter’s minivan has more wiring in the driver side door than an old MG has in the whole car LOL.
I guess Starbucks is a mass murderer.
Starbucks markets drugs to children. The Java Chip frappucinos they sold me at age 16 were totally the gateway drug to actual coffee. By the time I'm 40 I'll likely be mainlining the stuff. Lock up the Starbucks execs! It's for the children! /s
Briefly owned a midget in the 80’s. Never understood why the British built cars that wouldn’t start when it was raining.
I think its a popular legend. My brother had a Midget for a while and had a couple of electrical glitches that he fixed, but for the most part it ran pretty well.
Was fun to drive to drive when it did run?
