If you're hitting the grocery store to prepare for winter weather, please just buy what you need and leave some for others!
You may have noticed empty shelves in some stores due to national supply chain issues, but there is no need to buy more than you normally would.
Preppers, if wrong about the need to be preppers, will still be materially comfortable and enjoying their stock of provisions a year from now while having more money in the bank because they bought items at lower prices.
Too late.
I have been stocking up for over a year.
In my experience, I blame the causes for many commodities’ scarcity on DRIVE TIME RADIO. They’re the first to hype up potential gas supply problems, food shortages, service problems, etc. They claim they are only doing public service but it’s nothing but the one-upmanship of getting that hourly 3 minute lead...it’s disgusting.
There doesn’t seem to be a run on the new Chick Fil A sauce you can find at the grocery store. It’s pretty good.
Yep. Buying ahead on something you are guaranteed to need/use for the rest of your life is, right now, a pretty good rate of return based on inflation.
Watching everything crumble for completely preventable reasons because people are so stupid is heartbreaking.
The only shortage we noticed in our supermarket today, was the Ramen shelf. There was plenty of everything else.
We’re in the near suburbs of DC.
That is liberal land in a nutshell.
Create the problem, then glorify how you fixed it.
They are dishonest from the day they are born.
BareShelfBiden has finally come to my neck of the woods. I went to the grocery store to get some staples. Among them are jars of spaghetti sauce and noodles. Only the most expensive sauces were left on the shelf and hardly any noodles. LET’S GO BIDEN!!!
Hoard.
I bought more pasta today.....I don’t need pasta...but it was a good price and I’ll freeze it for 10 days then seal it up.
What are you talking about? Biden is a legend in his own mind. He said so at his rambling press conference.
Ping
Of course Biden will blame the food shortages on the unvaxxed.
That’s the shortage I notice in our smallish, Oregon town... Ramen
I’m still not seeing a lot of empty shelves. Mainly canned pet food and some freezer items.
Add my vote for a ramen shortage. Northern Idaho. Empty shelf. I didn’t know it was that popular around here.
This is for you and all of my Freeper prepper minded friends- This lady seems to have eminently good sense, so here it is. (Let me know what you think of her).

“Bread lines are good” a prominent politician once said...
What about Heinz 57?
I noticed it in my town in Texas last week.
