It turns out that, if you doubted COVID’s deadliness, you were correct

For leftists reveling in smug fear about COVID, the CDC director Rochelle Walensky had some very bad news.

Something peculiar has become clear over the last two years: Leftists seem to enjoy the COVID panic. For them, it started with the camaraderie of lockdowns and morphed in the smug self-righteousness of the masks and vaccinations, all made shiveringly delicious with that soupçon of fear that pairs well with totalitarian mandates. CDC director Dr. Rochelle Walensky’s appearance on Monday’s Good Morning America, however, may destroy that delightful emotional castle in which leftists have immured themselves. It turns out that most vaccinated people no longer need fear imminent death.

It’s been very weird for those of us who have maintained some degree of objectivity about the whole COVID uproar to see leftists maintain their high degree of terror about COVID despite their being vaccinated and boosted. JP Sears perfectly captures the illogical combination of fear and the lust for power that has seen the leftists ramp up their paranoia even as Omicron proves to be innocuous and they’re madly injecting mRNA treatments into their bodies:

However, it’s going to be very hard for them to maintain both the panic and that undeserved power they’re exerting over others. Walensky has acknowledged that, when it comes to vaccinated people who still died from COVID, almost 80% of them had one foot in the grave and one foot on a banana peel:

“The overwhelming number of deaths, over 75%, occurred in people who had at least four comorbidities. So, really, these are people who were unwell to begin with. And yes, really encouraging news in the context of Omicron; this means not only just to get your primary series but to get your booster series. And yes, we’re really encouraged by these results.”

He's high if he thinks any of this means anything to Leftists: what he's essentially saying is, if you don't have four or more comorbidities, you're probably fine. The Leftist response is, "Well I have five, so back into your house you go!!"

Remember, Leftists are victims. They GLORY in having something wrong with them. Over on Reddit, whole subreddits are devoted to various ills and conditions, and to a Leftist, it's a mark of delicate aristocracy to have special needs, unusual disabilities, a couple of genetic conditions, a few allergies, a mental illness or two... they love to list them to anyone who will listen.

They don't consider it something to be overcome. They consider it a badge that warns others to treat them with deference and care. The more illnesses and problems you have, the more attention and concern you attract. A disease that only strikes down these delicate souls is the most delicious horror they've ever had. They are NOT ready to let it go.

Less than seven one-hunredths of one percent “global deaths” from Covid over two years.

If that tiny percentage — many time smaller than the “official” percentages in Europe, which are a couple of times smaller than the “official” US stats — then there was NEVER a cause for alarm as the media ginned up with the collusion of the military-medical complex.

So, Mr. mewzilla, your assessment is very correct.

One FReeper, in a set of exchanges, extolled some more obscure “data” analysis. When I read into it, the entity actually replaced JHU sorts of data with their own “estimates” because they stated the counts were not high enough. The BS surrounding data and analysis has been a storm of pomposity and fraud. I will continue to post as above, as examples of how small this large “event” REALLY is. Except in the media and pharmaceuticals’ BS, where the fingerprints of the WEF and Gates Foundation are sponsors.
