COLUMBUS, Ohio — Inside Kai’s Crab Boil on Thursday night, tensions came to a boil.
A customer had stopped in for some takeout food and had trouble with a credit card payment.
Manager Courtney Hickey says the customer inserted her chip credit card but removed it too early. That meant the transaction pinged her bank account for a pre-authorization. Hickey tried to explain that that transaction would drop off of her account, but she says the customer was still upset.
“After I tried to explain all of that, she kinda just hit me,” Hickey said. “Definitely was surprised when it happened, but yeah, I wasn’t expecting it.”
Surveillance video of the incident provided to 10TV shows the customer hitting Hickey on the side of the face with an open hand, knocking off her glasses and then turning to walk out the door.

I don't know but maybe not since the transaction wasn't completed because she withdrew the card too quickly. After an incomplete transaction, the info may be thrown into the "bit bucket", i.e., discarded and ignored.
Look at it this way....she won’t be back for her fried “Crabs meat and butter” again.....
That POS with the white border looks like Clover, Square, possibly MerchantOne. An incomplete transaction where the card had been inserted but interrupted just before finish, would be front-and-center on their transaction dashboard.
Beginning to think what is unspoken here, is that Shaniqua was trying to boost dinner with a bad card, otherwise they'd have her by now in a frogmarch headlock.
Note something else in that picture. The black co-worker woman on the right is sitting there with her hands crossed, doing nothing to help.

That must have been some smack. I’ve seen bigfoot photos with more detail.
A few weeks ago, a customer threw soup in the cashier’s face. The world has gone nuts.
If the card recorded the transaction, wouldn’t the account give up a name?
There needs to be some severe punishment for that. Do we even have a government still?
Sucker punch. Pig wouldn’t last one round if she had to follow some rules.
