I have been taking Norwegian Cod Liver Oil every morning for the last 50 years. Best, cleanest source of D3.
For me, clusterheads are episodic. I'll normally have remission periods of 9 to 12 months between sequences.
I've also been COVID free so far. Not so much as a sniffle since this madness started.
This article is spot on. When I got Covid, without even testing my D3 level, the doctor prescribed 10,000 IU’s per day for 10 days. That was the only thing he prescribed because I was already on zinc and 5,000 IU’s per day of D3. I was also taking a variety of other supplements.
My Covid case as last March and it ended up being pretty mild. Subsequently, I had my D3 level checked last August 5 months after recovering. My D3 level was 95ng/mL which the doc felt was a little too high and recommended halving my 5,000 IU’s per day by doing 5,000 IU’s every other day. Well, I decided since the blood draw was in the dead of summer (late July) a lot of my D3 level was sun exposure related so I am still taking 5,000 IU’s per day. I live in the Pacific Northwest so we are fairly far north and don’t get enough sun from October through April.
Also, since we were going on a cruise through the Adriatic and Aegean seas in October, I wanted max protection from my D3 levels. Didn’t have an issue during or after the cruise. But then again, I was snorting my Xlear a couple times a day...ha ha ha
D.D. Good morning! Thought this would interest you!
Good brand, and good for you.
I’ve taken Carlson’s Norwegian Cod Liver Oil every morning for the same time.
—> And the best natural source of vitamin D is sunlight.
Yes.
Except when you wear sunscreen, that blocks the conversion
Except when you there is not enough seasonally available - usually when you need it most
Except when you avoid the sun
Except for those who genetically are unable to absorb less (darker skinned people)
Except for those on statin drugs that reduce the cholesterol your body needs to convert sunlight into vitamin D
Ect.
I’ve been taking 800 IU a day plus I’m outdoors quite a bit but it’s winter so that sun isn’t as strong in vitamin D.
So, the lockdowns actually make things worse?>>>. Absolutely. There is a picture of the 1918 spanish flu that had rows of tents but the sick were all placed on beds outside in the sunshine with Nurses on call.
I’ve been hearing rumblings of this. I am stocking up on my D3 supply.
Freerepublic where Vitamin D and/or Intermittent Fasting cures/prevents everything
Early treatment, instead of sending people home sick, "to ride it out," or to ride it to the ICR and a ventilator, could have saved the vast majority of those who have perished. They know it.
They demonized the efforts of equally (to the CDC and NIH) researchers and physicians who would have kept people alive by the use of the very scary (to social media and tech) therapeutics . . . Ivermectin and Hydroxychloroquine at the top of the list, . . .and would have helped preserve our right-to-try.
What’s really gonna bake your noodle, is when you finally figure out
why they didn’t.
I usually see 2000 IU recommended
Vitamin D is very effective to prevent many illnesses. If someone doesn’t take it; start.
It does take awhile to build up in the body.
Especially in residential care facilities.

Weed too? You mean I can get rid of these damned dandelions with vitamin D. Cool!
I think it works. I have not bee seriously sick or even stuffy nosed for very long for years.
I maintain my level between 50 and 70. I have to ask most docs to check it when they do my lab.
In addition to supplements I get lots of sustained sunshine all year now that I am retired to the farm.
