A construction manager tackles gender stereotypes daily as she shares the reality of how she is treated as a woman on a building site.
Autumn Westfall, a project manager in commercial construction as well as a model, from Macomb, Michigan, discusses her bizarre experiences as a woman in a male-dominated industry.
She explained to her 13,100 TikTok followers: “It’s 100% true that pretty privilege does exist and yes it is absolutely rude how when people find you attractive they are generally just nice to you for that reason and that reason only.”

lol
Every woman knows men are “visually attracted” to women and so does she or she wouldn’t have fake blond hair, fake eyelashes and lip plumping..along with a ton of makeup.
I worked on a construction site for about 3 months and I ditched all makeup, pulled my hair up under a hat, wore standard work jeans, and shirt. Never had a problem until we had a celebration dinner after completing the project. Then the guys saw me dressed a tad differently......
Must….resist….taking….the….bait.
"STOP!"
NOT GUILTY
Dress like a runway model. Worry about your TikTok accounts with your poses and your name is Autumn? Yeah you will command respect from a bunch of contruction workers! Moron.
Feminists won’t like my suggestion, but when you are on the job, stop wearing eyelash extensions, don’t use eyebrow thickener, tie your hair-up, don’t wear plunging necklines to show-off your nice cleavage, etc....
This woman says she doesn’t want to be judged on her looks - so why is she emphasizing her looks??
I’m just here for the comments.
Yes, yes, she does. I must bring her to my Institute.
Very soon!
WTF did she expect? How does she think lady firefighters and Marines feel?
Give me a break. If you’re hot and in any position of authority over men, you’d better be able to take it and dish it out. That’s life.
Dear God though; she’s lovely.
The same thing happened as you described, on a special event, she came in to the terminal dressed to the nines and got such a reaction we should have worn bibs.
That building we were in back then still exists but is now across the street from Truist Park, the Atlanta Braves Baseball field.
There's nothing bizarre about the experiences she's having, this is perfectly normal given the circumstances. There's no way, even in her "pretty girl" bubble, that she doesn't know what she's doing. At least for publicity, she's dressing (and also acting) to be noticed, and then trying to further gain attention by crowing about her plight on social media. In this world, that's a lucrative market, and I'm sure that her "follower" count will benefit from the media coverage of her plight, probably will lead to a corporate HQ job where she can show up at trade shows or big sales meetings and win contracts from thirsty old men. More power to her, but let's drop the ruse that she's being oppressed because it's insulting to everyone.
“Autumn Westfall” is a “curve model”.
I did some research. That’s not a mathematician’s term, in her case.
She’s a plus-sizer.
High maintenance fat pig.
Eggs ackley
She’d make a gay guy go straight.
DAMN.
What was that last line in The Stones’ “Start Me Up”?
“discusses her bizarre experiences as a woman” -— LOL.
This gal shouldn’t be allowed anywhere near a construction site for safety reasons ...
...too distracting for the rest of the crew!
