I haven't posted for several years after my comments were unceremonially erased by moderators. I am a conservative who voted for Trump and hope to vote for Pompeo. So my pedigree is established. I'm afraid that FreeRepublic is becoming a nucleus for some very bad information about covid. I've had several uvaccinated friends die in their 40's from covid. This dangerous possible bioweapon is very dangerous. I am vaccinated and am glad I am. My 101 year old mother in law survived a bout with covid because of her vaccinations. The vaccine is a rough one. I had 2-3 days of side effects leaving some scars on my shoulder. The MRNA vaccines. The vaccine (more like a prophylactic therapeutic ) does not protect you from the disease. It only mitigates symptoms. I'm saying all this to urge conservatives that are in risk categories to get vaccinated. We have already lost at least 2 talk show hosts and Herman Cain to this insidious Wuhan flu. So go ahead and flame me and join the suffering ones from Idaho.
Good post. That’s how I look at it too, though no one I know got Covid.. Did not get a vax until Delta variant came out. Then I had one Pfizer shot. Not even a sore arm, nor swelling of any kind. May or may not get a second shot.
My daughter got J&J only because she didn’t want to waste time in quarantine on their Hawaiian vacation. She was in bed with terrible side effects for three days, but did, in fact, have a wonderful time in Hawaii.

Where did you get that bit of nonsense? First of all, I can debate without name calling and most of the time do. Secondly, I was not debating...I was showing compassion for this individual and my ( shared by most) distaste for the rude behavior of the antivaxxer yahoo’s. Last, I find their ignorance impossible to gear without anger because of the great harm they do. People debate all the time while calling each other derogatory names...grow up and use your mind for something more than trying to pretend your superior...

It definitely puts one on either “side” of having taken the vaccine or not. But, that doesn’t mean anything more than that...
I agree with you that this is a bioweapon. First it took out mostly the elderly yet children didn’t catch it. Just as we were starting to recover a second wave hit in August that went after everyone. I was never one to even get a flu shot but since my husband has a lung illness I did reluctantly get the vax. I have no regrets so far.
