New Shower Has Extra-Hot 'Wife' Temperature Setting That Will Literally Melt The Flesh From Your Bones (satire)

U.S.—Popular plumbing and bath products manufacturer Kohler Co. has introduced a new shower tap that gets the water hot enough to literally melt the flesh from your bones. Known as the "wife" setting, the shower gets up to 800 degrees Fahrenheit, enough to make men literally melt where they stand, since they are pansy babies who can't take a little pain.

Wives who have tested the product so far, however, say they "can't get enough" of the heat level and aren't sure what their husbands are complaining about.

"Honestly, it's still a little too cold," said Destiny Hombre of San Andreas, CA. "I wish they could kick it up a few extra degrees. It's kind of like I'm in the arctic. I guess it's better than those old miserable showers that only got up to a pathetic 112 degrees."

Destiny's husband has since been found dead, a pile of melted flesh, his skeleton frozen screaming in agony, after he got in the new shower when she accidentally left the setting on "Wife."

My wife is Japanese and you’ve never known hot until you’ve taken a 268 degree bath.

In college I dated a girl with low blood pressure. She would get so cold when she fell asleep that it was like trying to cuddle a frozen roadkill. She was great person even though she got smart enough to dump me.

Other way round at the Thinking house. I’m the one that needs a molten lava setting. Mrs. Thinking likes it barely above room temp.

She “accidentally” left it on the wife setting. Yeah, right.

I’m actually a normal body temperature now thanks to my new pills. I’m not as red as a lobster coming out of the shower anymore. lol

It took three years before my first divorce got finaalized. If I’d have had one of these things around, I could have flensed her down to a pile of bones in sixty seconds and saved a helluva chunk of money in the process. You want hot, steamy love? Step into the shower. Oh, you first. I insist.

They say women are from Venus and men are from Mars.
For wifey and I, it's Mercury and Pluto.
(And Pluto will always be a planet for me.)

I’m trying to tell if that’s real, or it’s Rodney Dangerfield’s shtick.

Low iron normally makes women want hotter temperatures but I’ve known a few who couldn’t take low heat in the shower for long before they approached passing out.

I don’t care if it’s 97 degrees in the shade with 90% humidity the better half is going to take herself a hot shower! I’m talking she manages to fog up the mirrors, the windows, the counter top, and the very walls will have condensed steam running down them!

I don’t understand it and never will how anyone can take such a shower and come out sweating even more than they were when they went in...

This might actually be almost warm enough for my wife. She likes her showers just under the temperature at which the water skips the vapor stage and goes straight to plasma.
