A woman in Missouri was afraid of the effects from COVID-19 vaccines and chose not to get the shots, but later contracted the Delta variant of the novel coronavirus and died in the hospital.
Deborah Carmichael, the mother of now-deceased 45-year-old Tricia Jones, is speaking out and urging those hesitant about the vaccine to get the jab after losing her daughter in June. She spoke to Kansas City's news channel Fox 4 WDAF-TV about her daughter's death and vaccine hesitancy in an interview broadcast this week.
"She was afraid of the side effects, I think. You hear a lot of horror stories. I, myself, when I had the shot, it was rough, so it scared her and freaked her out. So she didn't want to do it. I couldn't convince her," Carmichael told the Missouri news channel.
Jones, who resided in Grain Valley, was a mother of two, including her 18-year-old daughter Adriana, who just graduated from high school. The teen told Fox 4 that her mother was her "best friend."

Nobody recovers from COVID-19, as this article seems to imply.
I feel unable to weigh the risks and benefits surrounding Covid because our government has been completely untrustworthy in this. I simply do not know who to believe. Measles, mumps, rubella, diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis - I pretty much believe the public information.
Covid I absolutely do not. So I am going by my own personal experience. I know nobody who has officially had Covid - although some suspect they did. I know no one who died from it. I know OF some old acquaintances - but not enough to know any complicating factors or the integrity of those who treated them.
So I am not doing anything unless I have concrete large scale information that I can trust. I don’t know when that is ever going to be. Those in charge have behaved without a conscience. It’s reprehensible the lies and panic and policies they touted.
Considering the push to get jabbed, it wouldn’t be a surprise to find this woman never existed and everything, including the obit, if fake.
The real tragedy is that our government is withholding the therapeutic that would have saved her life.

I’m not saying it doesn’t happen, it just isn’t normal. Also the article said complications of COVID which to me would mean after the COVID itself was resolved. Depending on how the hospital is deciding resolution, it could be anywhere from 2 to 4 weeks or even longer. I feel terrible for the woman and her family, it can be a terrible way to die, but the article seems like fear porn.

You just listed some of the greatest things mankind has come up with to combat viruses. The invention of soap was the greatest helper vs viruses in the history of mankind. Number two is not even close.
You also noted down post that you and your wife both got vaccinated so that’s 2 for 2. That is great and I am happy for you. My aunt and uncle got their second shot, my aunt had a stroke the next morning (she lived thankfully) and her husband died of a heart attack two days later. We laid him to rest a couple of months ago. So your 2 for 2 have been negated theoretically.

Progressives say trust the science and then they bring out a single case that almost disproves the science. One case is anecdotal and cannot be used as a reference.
You seem to know more than our 3 doctors. Between me and my wife, we have her cancer doc, she has her family doc and I have my urologist doc. All 3 advised us strongly to get vaccinated. But may be we should have listened to you instead? But as luck would have it, it is now 5+ months since 2nd shot of Moderna and we have zero side effects. And we were able to again go on our favorite vacation again by booking 2 cruises in 2021. And we now have close relatives visiting us again without worrying about getting us infected. We have to be careful, I am 81 and wife is fighting stage-4 cancer for 3+ years.

Once you get sick enough to require a ventilator because your lungs are butchered by covid virus, yes, very difficult to survive.
