How will the passport Nazis get past the FDA?
Look at this from statnews.com first:
Federal law prohibits employers and others from requiring vaccination with a Covid-19 vaccine distributed under an EUA
Then look at this PDF from the FDA:
Emergency Use Authorization of Medical Products and Related Authorities
Go to PDF page 28 and look under "Information for Recipients," then read the fourth bullet.
Sure looks to me that as long as the FDA has an Emergency Use Authorization for the vaccines, you can't be forced to take it. The article from statnews.com says it can take two years for the FDA to drop the EUA.
If anybody can refute any of this, please let me know with a link, documentation or what have you.

I won a bet...I called this 6 months ago.
I bet the same person double or nothing that within a year (4/1/22) there will be a “climate emergency” declared, resulting in some version of rationing for electricity and/or gasoline.
Simple. The FDA approves it, or Congress forces it through legislation and the President signs it.
What’s worse is, the Nazis can check the database of those who haven’t received vaccines, cross reference that with drivers licenses and carry permits and go after them as the right wing terrorists.
I receive all my care at one of those hospitals and my Primary Care Physician has told me that I'm at increased risk from the virus (because of age *and* pre existing conditions) and has strongly encouraged me to get the shots.I have followed that advice.
In addition to the advice I've received I'm also glad I got them because it might make my hope of soon traveling to Canada possible given that I have proof of having been vaccinated.
And as for "legal recourse" when it comes to *international* travel you're subject to the laws of the sovereign nation you seek to enter.Your only options are comply...or stay home.
Let no crisis go to waste.

They can call it: “The freedom pass.” or a “go-card.” or “green travel card” or “green pass.”
Anything with “green” today has a positive Pavlovian response. The people have been conditioned green = good and go.
You need to somehow link this new travel restriction to freedom, free, social responsibility, doing the right thing. Sort of like the Patriot Act. Every good patriot will support the idea of side stepping the US Constitution regards due process, privacy, warrantless searches of ones person and affects...
The naming of this new card is important. I wonder how they will sell it?

They will make it painful if you do not comply. Your rights do not matter. They no longer exist. Government bureaucrats decide what rights you have today. You can’t even buy a pack of nasal decongestants without a mandatory DEA reporting requirement in this country of the “free and the brave.” Hahahaha
If the ‘vaccines’ work, why would the vaccinated have any concerns from someone who chose not to get the shot?

It looks like the FDA is saying that the recipient has the option to accept or refuse the EUA product.
It also says that the president may require members of the armed forces to accept administration of the EUA product.
So it's reasonable to conclude that no one has the right to mandate an EUA vaccination, except for the armed forces.
My opinion: requiring the vaccine through the back door by turning refuseniks into non-persons is not the intent of the law. So the "passports" are not legal.
The scary thing is how eager the useless eaters (AKA Karens in meme culture) are to enforce the rules their government overlords dictate. I have cursed out many a “Karen” giving me static for my lack of masking. No one wants to wear masks where I live but out tyrant governor sends out her gestapo to “check for compliance” and has shut down several bars taking their liquor license and fined a restaurant 40k, which basically forces them out of business.
There are a lot of holes that need filled out here....

Since a vaccination shot is a preventative measure, that does not fall under the HIPPA definition. HIPPA is about existing medical information, not preventive measures to to aid in not contracting a pathogen that is making the rounds through the human population.

HIPAA is toothless. There is no private right of action under HIPAA. It’s up to the government to bring any action for violations.
HIPAA applies only to covered entities; it does not apply to all persons or institutions that collect individually identifiable health information.
HIPAA isn’t your savior.
As I read the posts on this thread I am reminded of why our nation is where it is.
None of us have any claim to being of the same cloth as the founders of this nation.
