Race and gender in hiring are two keys to financial success for top McDonald’s executives, according to the company as it sets its course for the future.
A press release on the McDonald’s website says that part of the bonuses awarded to top company executives will be based upon their efforts to hire women and what the company terms “historically underrepresented groups” for top corporate positions.
“Beginning in 2021, the Company is incorporating quantitative human capital management-related metrics to annual incentive compensation for its Executive Vice Presidents,” the company said.
The company’s diversity website notes that in America, 70 percent of those hired in 2019 were women (54 percent) or minorities (33 percent).

I'm having similar thoughts. Jan 1st, 2023 is the date that social security reaches max for me. I'll have 30 years with my company in Dec 2021. Hoping the world doesn't crater just in time to destroy any possibility of retirement.
1. If MacDonald's had instead announced that they were denying their Executive Vice Presidents bonuses for hiring "too many" minorities for top positions, how many McDonald's outlets in America would be picketed the next day? How much footage of angry Blacks and Latinos, etc., parading around in front of McDonald's outlets throughout the nation, hurling expletives at policemen there to protect customers, holding signs accusing McDonald's of "racism" would we be seeing in the evening news?
2. Are any patriotic Americans protesting against this example of evil racism? If not: Why not?

Unqualified affirmative action hires will still need to rely on qualified white males to do the real work. The smart CEOs will realize they are over their head and rely on their advice. The arrogant CEOs will ignore the advice and run their companies into the ground. And the smart white male executives will leave these diversity obsessed mega-corporations and find work at smaller companies that hire solely on merit.

Nah, they’ll just hire white wimmin and Asians
Nothing new. About 30 years ago I was told that I could not expect promotion because there were too many white male managers and the company was getting heat from their governmental customers about needing more blacks and women in manager slots.
So I left for another company with no government customers.
Before we started to work from home, I would bring leftovers to work and heat them in the microwave.
I’ve found a pastime I can enjoy now.
Much appreciated.
Lately I am doing the exact same thing. Cutting up potatoes and deep frying them. The metal frying basket is finally finding good use lol.
We cook bacon frequently and I save the melted fat. Great stuff for frying french fries!
Long ago my brother worked as a helper to a Boar’s Head meat delivery helper. The man in charge of the route had dogs who refused to eat McDonald’s hamburgers. They were a little spoiled, but still.
