A maskless gunman held up a restaurant in Pasadena, California but rather than emptying the cash register, the suspect demanded chicken that he had been refused because he wasn’t wearing a face covering. Enjoy the rest of 2021. According to staff at Roscoe’s House of Chicken & Waffles, the chicken heist occurred after a man was told to leave the establishment because he refused to wear a mask in accordance with Covid-19 guidelines. The enraged customer reportedly stormed out, before later returning with a gun… and his food order.
Robert Gonzalez, who works at the restaurant as a cook, told local media that it was clear the suspect was “not after money.” He said that the gunman entered the kitchen and began chasing him before getting distracted.
“The guy just said, ‘Put all the chicken in the bag,’” Gonzalez told local news channel KTLA. “I understand we got some good chicken, but man!”

Sounds yummy.
Plexiglass has the same effect on me as a Matador’s Red cape👿
I may be one of the 29 people in the country that ‘does not get’ serving both chicken and waffles on the same plate.
Either one alone is likely to fill me up.
Waffles are for breakfast or dessert. Chicken is for lunch and/or dinner. Those are The Rules! Right?
this puts a new meaning to playing chicken...
Plexiglass has the same effect on me as a Matador’s Red cape👿
If I ever bother to set foot in CA again, I will remember to check this place out. Their chicken must be out of this world!
DANG!
Stereotypes exist for a reason.
The people who were going to bed just as the rest of the world was waking up.
Some of them wanted breakfast, some wanted dinner.
Some wanted both at once.
Having worked third shift I can totally see it.
From eyes of a sociopath...”Sociopath Statistics. The sociopath makes up approximately 3 to 5 percent of the general population. According to the American Psychiatric Association, about three out of 100 males and one in 100 are sociopaths. Approximately 70 percent of sociopaths who come from fatherless homes and 30 percent are born out of wedlock.”
So, if you deal with a hundred people at your store in any one day, you may have dealt with several sociopaths. Not all sociopaths are evil...they simply do not have any emotional connection with others. Now, add in drug addicts, alcoholics and people with other mental disorders and, in your dealings with a hundred customers, you may, depending on your location, have dealt with ten or twenty potentially bad situations.
Now, throw in ridiculous and arbitrary rules like the masks...what Nancy Pelosi called, “political theater.” This amps up the probability that one of these potential problems is at the very edge of his self control.
I have watched Publix, Costco and Walmart employees acting like that famous scene (link) from “The Body Snatchers.” (Oh, yeah, those potential problem people are going to react nicely to that.)
Tightly wrapped!
I figured the guy would put on a mask when he returned to hide his identity
“Free chicken is always better.”
Prison chicken is free.
‘Course...it may not be real chicken.
First place, I don't know who has sneezed over the box and I don't know who reached their covid-ridden hand into the box to grab a clean one at the bottom.
I left immediately without donning a paper mask. Now, just think if I were interested in buying that house that was on the market for $725,000 - I'd say that was a pretty expensive mask.
It’s ok, just tell them your gun identifies as a mask.
That Chicken was going to be either breaded or leaded.
They made the right choice.
Not all heroes wear capes.😎
I don’t usually pay any attention to RT, but these daily news reports about the zombies are good. Keep ‘em coming!
So would I. Give the man his chicken, and quit being a Karen.
