a hypothetical scenario for the beginning of a civil war
me | 12/17/2020 | me

Posted on 12/17/2020 7:53:39 AM PST by SteveH

this is a hypothetical scenario, about how a civil war might start, which has been lurking in the back of my mind lately. i do not think it is the worst case scenario but it is still very scary and so of course i hope none of it happens. however by way of illustration i include some financial details along with the larger context of a situation which imho could in theory unravel relatively quickly-- basically before most people and institutions can react to protect their investments.

now through jan. 17th - trump continues to test the boundaries, but gains little or no further traction with the government embedded deep state. somehow, his 5d chess moves may have been insufficient to overcome the deep state election fraud and fraud upon the courts. The legislatures are deadlocked. for whatever reason, perhaps to avoid bloodshed, trump declines to declare martial law. in what is apparently becoming the last week of his presidency, trump makes one final effort directly to the american people, calling for a massive pro-american rally in Washington DC on jan. 19th.

jan. 19th - 10 million people show up in Washington DC in support of trump. it is a peaceful celebration. at the end of the day, people return to their homes all across the nation. trump pardons his family, pence, and pence's family, but not himself.

jan. 20th - midnight- trump leaves the White House, flies to florida, and determines to stay out of politics for the time being. biden/harris administration takes over the White House.

jan 20th - 2000 people show up for biden/harris inauguration. the contrast in support by the american people becomes undeniable, even to the MSM. The MSM dutifully broadcast patently fake crowd footage from 2008 and 2012, and pretend that it is 2020 footage. no one is fooled. biden/harris and their handlers panic. a 2020 version of the reichstag fire is set in motion. a few innocent biden supporters are "victimized" by "right wing provocateurs" (who may in actuality be deep state actors, though any hint of this possibility is carefully avoided by biden/harris and the MSM).

jan 21 - as a result of a so-called "right wing attack" on biden/harris supporter victims, biden/harris and handlers declare indefinite martial law in all 50 states and DC. additionally, biden declares friday jan 22 as a "bank holiday" in which banks are closed. biden declares trump to be a traitor and orders his location and capture.

jan 22 - banks are closed. thousands of pro american people start to march towards DC again, of their own accord. possession of gold, silver and other precious metals is prohibited by biden executive order, and must be turned into banks for federal reserve notes when the banks open. the stock and commodities markets shut down. trump and family disappears.

jan 23rd - a bigger demonstration-- 20 million people show up in DC. the demonstration is peaceful, but unauthorized, and martial law and lethal force are used to disperse the peaceful crowd. thousands of casualties. MSM blame the peaceful pro american protesters. biden/harris panic again and extend the bank holiday indefinitely, stock and commodities markets to remain down.

jan 24- insurrection across the usa against federal facilities. big swing state cities and DC are targeted. all business and all transportation is shut down indefinitely. at midnight EST, the civilian internet is turned off across the nation.

jan 25- banks, markets, businesses, and all roads remain closed until further notice. full scale war breaks out. banks join federal facilities as targets of military operations. power to all major cities is cut off. china attacks taiwan.

6 months to 5 years later-- unconditional surrender terms reached; one side wins and the other side loses.

again this is a hypothetical case. the damages described need to be weighted by its probability of occurrence. However, i just do not know what that probability of occurrence is. We know the deep state controls much of the government and the MSM, and is not afraid to abuse the public trust. What we do not yet know is at what point the deep state is willing to back off and give up when confronted by honest citizens asserting their natural rights. I have no firm answers except that it might not be a bad idea to be prepared for all reasonably imaginable possibilities.

perhaps by discussing the unthinkable, we can somehow figure out a way to avoid the unthinkable.

If the kid shooting people in Wisconsin did not start a shooting war, I am skeptical that anything can.

You are talking like that...and you are just getting your first AR15?

First...good luck with that.

Second...make sure you don’t shoot your foot off.

Texas isn’t going anywhere.

That state has its head so far up the Federal Government’s arse that they would wither and die about three days after declaring “independence.”

It’s all about economics. And Texas would take decades to get back to this level of strength. Take out the military money, the NASA money, the subsidies for oil exploration....and there is some cattle stuff left.

Do you think the US Army and Air Force are simply going to walk away from El Paso and San Antonio?

I know this is all fantasy league civil war...but folks are not even thinking it through past the first steps.

There won’t be anything civil about it.

I guess my point is that I find it pretty hard to imagine any sort of split occurring while our unique societal conditions persist. I have my doubts any civil war or revolution in all of history would have ever occurred if conditions were like they are here and now, given my understanding of human nature.

good thoughts

> The best thing that could happen to us is a civil war, and so they won’t give it.

i also thought of that after i posted. perhaps i am not giving the democrats enough credit for being clever. they certainly engineered biden’s electoral fraud well.

in retrospect i wonder if i gave pelosi enough credit. she seemed certain of the win and that apparently is the reason she did not give in on the 2nd round bug relief package. OTOH, the republicans held the line on the 2nd round bug relief package, but to what end? it seems likely that if biden becomes president he will veto anything but a welfare-laden 2nd round bug relief package anyways. so republicans’ hard work holding the line on spending will have lasted perhaps 6 months, with the republicans getting embarrassed in the public eye anyways in the long run. it does not seem very smart. it would be more consistent to back trump now, but mcconnell does not seem to be doing that. to me , it is mystifying.

> You forgot a couple of things....

> Biden/Harris call in the UN for support to quell unrest.

> China takes advantage and co-ops Australia and Asia.

> Canada supports the Federals and allows China continued unfettered access to North America.

geez, ... yet more nightmares...

> Can you get 20,000,000 people in DC?

I vacillated on the exact amount. I suppose 5 or 10 million might be more plausible. I changed it back to 20 million for some reason that I can no longer recall. Maybe it is because I had a romantic wish that that many people within one or two days’ driving distance of DC would have a desire to make the noble gesture to say goodbye forever to the greatest country in the world and to the last true and honest American president, Donald Trump.

> Here’s another scenario. If Catatonic Joe prevails with the cheating, there will/might/could be federal Dystopia Virus mandates for states. States that don’t conform to those mandates will/might/could be cut of from federal funds. States cut off from federal funds will/might/could/should refuse to collect federal taxes and have no reason to be part of any union.

Actually i have done some informal interviewing of people and they still seem to be scared of the bug, almost to the exclusion of everything else. i do not think most people are following the true bug stats and bug story as closely as most FR folks tend to do. In SF Bay i find it easier just to wear a stupid mask than to worry about dealing with unending waves of Karens descending on me in public and mask-shaming me. Call me a coward if you must...

“If the kid shooting people in Wisconsin did not start a shooting war, I am skeptical that anything can.”

$$$$$$$$$

That was basically self defense, and isolated.

I’m talking about where someone opens fire with a semiautomatic weapon and takes out a dozen or more people.

Then that begets a revenge action, taking out twice as many. Or a car bomb. Lather, rinse, repeat on both sides. Once it starts, it will be very hard to stop.

But there will be no Antietam 2.

i dunno but the JBS has been harping about the UN for decades. bidenites would probably be well advised to keep the UN out of any martial law action. if blue helmets show up on US soil, then even i might even get out of my armchair and join the rebels, and i doubt anyone would mistake me for rambo. lol. but anyways, blue helmets on US soil is like a bridge to far... for the blue helmets. they would attract lots more unwanted attention. jmho.

yes although i am not clear what you meant by the following

> I think if this scenerio would engage, Biden would disappear quickly. Trump and family would remain for show trials, to the continued determent of the Democrats.

as for me, i was hedging a bit not to commit to one side or the other prevailing if only because it seemed to me that good arguments could be made either way. i wish i had a crystal ball (that, and i wish i was about 40 years younger, and maybe then i would have a small chance of making a difference on the playing field. lol).

Yep, Dems opened the door to autonomous areas so we can too.

Check out this site:

https://cis.org/Map-Sanctuary-Cities-Counties-and-States

There are 11 sanctuary states. Ironically, a number probably close to the number of Freedom States that may declare themselves autonomous.

Liberals who were rioting and attacking random conservatives all summer will ramp it up after the election is “resolved”. Increased violence if Trump is declared the winner, and increased violence if backed by the heights of power under Biden/Harris.
