Sunday night my husband went to the hospital because he was feeling winded (48 years old). He had had shoulder surgery about 2 weeks prior so he was chalking it up to tensing too much from pain.
They did several tests on him, admitted him, more tests and then told us he needs an open heart triple heart bypass (family history)-- we are devastated and could really use your prayers right now.
My husband said "Have Faith" but to be honest, I feel like my wells are empty and I am having a hard time drawing upon them. I am scared...we have been married 30 years and he is our family's rock.
I know so many families here have gone through much more and I have so much to be thankful for... we probably found it a month away from a heart attack (50% clog, 90% clog, 80% clog).
Surgery is tomorrow at noon and I would appreciate you holding my husband Keith up in your prayers...thank you freeper family~
If this is duplicate, you have 2 prayers for Keith and you.
God’s grace & peace I pray for you.
Triple bypass is risky, of course, but it is common and many, many people go through it just fine. Have faith, and be happy that such procedures exist.
Prayers up for your family. We have a friend that had a triple bypass last year. At the time, he was 67 years old and not in good health. Today, he is like a new person. Good luck.
Prayers up!
Prayers up, hoping for the best for your family.
Prayers for you and your family. Psalm 23.
But yll did find it
Prayers
Prayers for your family and Keith,it is a scary time. Have faith. I know what you are going through. Things will be brighter after the surgery.
We will pray for y’all.
He will feel so much better afterward. Thank God it was discovered so he can have surgery.
I will hold up your husband and your family in prayer! Keep updated on freerepublic as to how the surgery goes!
Done. Good luck.
you all don’t know how much your words have helped me...thank you so much for your prayers.
I am having a hard time of this...broke my foot, had to have surgery (no weight bearing) so it is a difficult time-
thank you for your kindness...I will read these tomorrow as I wait- thank you ...thank you!
You and your family are in our prayers! Wishing a speedy recovery.
Prayers up for all. Hang on to our Lord.
Be strong and of a good courage.
Be not afraid, neither be Thou dismayed,
For the Lord Thy God is with thee
Whithersoever Thou goest.
Joshua 1:9
God will carry you through. Hard to understand that right now, as you say your wells are running dry, but don’t stop praying, and don’t lose faith. He will heal and restore your loved one to wellness. Prayers for healing and comfort.
I will offer up a prayer. But be comforted in this. I have twice been opened-up with a really bad family track record, first at 43 and second at 53. I have been doing well since the 2nd surgery in 2006. Yes, it is painful but after a week of sleeping in a recliner, the pain will subside enough to get back to a decent sleep in your bed. The rehab is essential so dont allow him to put it off.
AMEN and AMEN!
Count your blessings that you found it early enough to act!
You are very fortunate.
