So me and my best friend are coming back from a grocery trip, and we get to the gate of my apartment complex and there is some SUV yelling at the intercom about not letting her in, and so I get my card out to open the gate and I say in passing you are a snowflake.
Well she gets mad at me and follows us and keeps honking the the horn, we go past where my apartment is, so she does not know where my apartment is, and we stop, and all of the sudden this black guy shows up and tells me, everything will be alright, and that she is crazy, and he will take care of it.
Thank you for your service to our country....
Let me get this straight: You live in a gated complex and you let in an unknown, crazed woman in her SUV, who was not being let in by whomever was on the other end of the intercom?
If you were here where I am you could pee on a snowflake. The hazards of living in the Rockies, but we have both kinds here, if it’s any consultation. :)

I just wanted to get home and she was blocking the way.
You got more out of it than I did. All I got was that some black guy calmed everything down. What needed to be calmed down in the first place, I don’t know.
Only one thing worse than those SUVs that yell at intercoms and that’s the sports cars.

You might want to check your rental contract and, if I’m right, consult an attorney.
If you’re lucky, they left out that clause. But that doesn’t mean you either won’t catch shit from neighbors or be legally liable for letting her in.
Well, I know that we’ve just recently changed residency, but this one looks interesting ;^D

Man if this makes for an exciting story in Dallas I’ll stay in New York City.
I could tell the story about being in Brooklyn and running into a black lives matter march and being surrounded by five guys but that could never touch this story.

The person on the other side of the intercom may not have wanted the individual in the vehicle in the complex.
Maybe he wants a pat on the head for calling her a snowflake?
My day isn't complete unless I piss off at least one every day.
Of the many times I visited NYC compared to my more sedate home I characterized it as intense living. :)
