BREAKING: Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron is reportedly planning to announce the decision in the deadly shooting of Breonna Taylor by Louisville police at 1:30 p.m.
The post I replied to said witnesses backed the cops story. I was pointing out that’s not true. Only 1 of the dozen witnesses had a story that even partly backed the cops tale. Of course had the cops bothered to wear their cameras we wouldn’t care what the witnesses say.
Not death. Just a knee shot

Ahh. The “Joe Biden Method.”
Guess all the Dysons were already “out of stock”?
They shouldn't be opposed where there is a clear and present danger from the suspects or that drugs will be flushed down the toilet. Cops get assaulted and even ambushed by these people all the time. No Knocks were not invented just because the cops were too lazy to say "hello." They were invented because of extreme, out of control violence.
She made a bad choice of a boyfriend. It cost her her life.
That should be the end of it.
Preach it.
Heck. If Im sitting at home and I hear my front door being broken down, my first thought is going to be home invasion. I wont be thinking Gee, I wonder if this is a no-knock raid.

Of course you would think that. Due to the fact you are not a drug dealing felon.
Home invasion or no-knock. Whatever. The boyfriend and Breonna placed themselves at risk of this happening.
Live by the sword....
Police has a no knock warrant but went to the wrong address
It was the correct address.
Despite a no knock warrant they still ID themselves as cops witnesses state
Correct, but it is claimed the people inside the apartment never heard them announce. That is important, because what Walker reasonably knew, or thought he knew, at the time he fired, is what counts for self defense.
Her boyfriend opened fired on the officers and the officers returned fire. Breonna Taylor was killed in the crossfire. Several officers were injured
Only one shot was fired by the boyfriend, Kenneth Walker. He severely wounded one police officer, Sgt Mattingly.
The mob wants murder chargers
Correct. The police want murder charges for Kenneth Walker, or at least attempted murder, and the BLM types want murder charges for Sgt. Mattingly.
I do not think either will be convicted of murder.
The police followed procedure. Walker fired at someone he thought was a home invader, then called 911.
They both will walk.
No, same one. Wrong address was wrongly reported on some outlets.
> If you’re in a black neighborhood where 25% of the population already has a lengthy felony record, maybe you would think differently. <
Yes. Id be MORE inclined to think it was a home invasion.
For what its worth, I think the cops acted stupidly, but not feloniously. So the Taylor family deserved a big payday. But the cops should not be charged with any criminal offense.
Heres what I dont get. I understand that no-knock raids are sometimes necessary. But for goodness sakes, when the cops hit the door, why not turn on all their car lights and sirens? Let people know the cops coming in!
I stand by my previous statement. If somebody kicks in my front door, Im going to absolutely assume its a home invasion.
Terrible accident?
If you get in your car drive 120 miles down interstate and pile into a retaining wall, that’s a terrible accident, but it’s a terrible accident that should never had the opportunity to occur.
The so-called no-knock warrant in this case was never even remotely Justified. And for the police to expect that any moron’s going to open his door in the middle of the night to somebody banging on the door yelling police, they are freaking idiots. Ditto for the judge who signed off on this.
I’ve said this many times over the years, I will never open my door to someone who starts banging on it in the middle of the night yelling police. Why don’t you just put a sign on your front door that says home invasions welcome?
They were invented because of extreme, out of control violence.
They have been around since the beginning of the Republic.
It is only recently that they have been used promiscuously, and most of the ramping up happened as the murder rate was ramping down.
And THAT...the fact that the policeman will not be charged, never mind the actual perp...will be the basis for the riot that's going to erupt today.
what’s the consensus? will the police be found not guilty?
We are afraid of them because if we defend ourselves we will spend the rest of our lives in jail. Until that changes you take your life into your hands whether you defend yourself or not. How’s that for a Hobson’s choice?
Not good enough reasons to justify. They've used no-knocks on normal everyday citizens just because they can. Same excuse for shooting the small terrier. Their life is on the line every time they don the uniform. Put a trap in the sewer line for drugs. Knock and stand to one side. Busting down doors in the middle of the night is not cool.
Do you have any family members in law enforcement? You'd be dooming them to death by absolutely outlawing no knock warrants just to give Obama's sons an edge.
As for "middle of the night." I don't know if that's true. In Texas, warrants are not executed at night. And I have never seen a night time raid on body cams despite viewing a large number of them.
Was there a couple of years ago and visited the baseball museum and Kentucky Bourbon. Received a miniature baseball bat that I gave to the stepson of the boss who has Downs syndrome.
I came in on a special passenger train that was rocked by the local ferals as we slowly came to a signal stop as we headed toward downtown from the south. We were directed to hunker down and stay away from the windows. An urgent call went out to the train dispatcher to give us a green signal and alert police to our predicament.
Prices of so low practically giving them away
