Billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk says that while his plan to establish a self-sustaining Mars colony may have slipped behind schedule, he still hopes to see Starships first orbital flight test in 2021.
However, he warned those going there might not make it back.
He said: I want to emphasise that this is a very hard and dangerous, difficult thing, not for the faint of heart, he added. Good chance youll die, its going to be tough going, but it will be pretty glorious if it works out.
Send DhimmicRATs!!
You go first, Elon.
Rioters and looters—all aboard! Mars Train!
Rioters and looters—all aboard! Mars Train!
At least he’s honest about it.
he’s got that notoriously weird european look to him
Perhaps Elon Musk might be one of the first.
After all, it will be “glorious.”
Now that’s an idea! Get rid of the riffraff.
Don’t think they’ll have to worry about making a fire.
Well, in many regards, he is right. Keep in mind, Mars does not provide ANY of the basics, other than solar energy, to support human life there.
The Moon is a good starting platform to learn how to build a sizable life-supporting environment. No simple task. Fun food for thought...
He does have a death wish. Tesla investors beware. Tesla is heavily invested in China. Every manufacturing, software, battery patent and technique will be stolen by the Chinese and incorporated into their own EV industry. Not one dollar of “profit” from Tesla’s Chinese operations will reach its mostly American stockholders. The company will eventually go broke and Musk will only smile.
All kidding aside you know when it comes to crewing the first missions they’ll get at least 1000x the volunteers they have room for. Who knows, maybe even 1 in 100 might be reasonably qualified. Sure it is a tremendous risk, but with potential rewards equal to or greater than the risk. There are a lot of people who will sign up for that... Not me mind you, but I probably know a couple of people who would.
Go home to that ugly "wife" of yours....
Send Democrats to Uranus.
Make Mars a penal colony, like the Brits did Australia. The really hard cases they sent to Tasmania.
Musk will probably live to see the day when his visions and accomplishments are credited to female women of color.
I think I read once he wants very young people to go. Something about being in better shape but that seems so rotten. Decisions made in your young age are not the brightest and no doubt would snare pretty innocent kids and send them on to a horrific death.
That’s a good idea. First spaceships to Mars should be manned by prisoners. They have nothing to lose so they’ll sign up for the adventure.
How do I sign up?
Well OK, you first then.
