NASCAR president Steve Phelps said there are not a lot of answers yet in regard to an investigation into a noose that was left in driver Bubba Wallace’s garage at the Talladega Superspeedway on Sunday.

NASCAR hasn’t meant anything to me since the early 80s.
Thats still a large number of people considering there are around 40 teams or so IIRC. I would imagine the investigation would work from the inside out though...Wallace, his team etc. etc.
The story is sketchy.
Do we even know exactly who found it? Phelps is the one who notified Bubba wallace
It happened during the rain delay.
Drivers arent suppose to be in the garage during that time
It is possible it was a serpentine belt that someone claims they fashioned into a noose shape..in a loose fashion
I was convinced some snowflake saw an extension cord that is often wrapped like a noose

They know by know what it was, surely. And NASCAR has gotten a lot of press coverage out of it too.
I hope Bubba did it, for a few reasons. One, I never knew he was black until the BLM garbage; Two, it will not be used as another weapon against white people.
Steve Phelps already has a garage full of white flags, knee pads, and shine kits to hand out to those attending NASCAR races.
I don’t have NASCAR’s resources but you could not step on any of my properties and certainly not in to any structure without me knowing immediately and there being a video taken.

To be credible, they MUST ban whoever did it, ESPECIALLY if it is a staged job. Ban the driver and knowing pit crew for life.
It had to be Bo or Luke after they had to take the flag off the General Lee.
A lot of times you see that they do it to themselves and then scream and holler.
look at this...seems to me if I was Phelps I would immediately ask for pictures and DETAILS ...and I would be reviewing cameras

Another takeaway from the press conference. Phelps was asked about the rumors that the noose was the garage’s pull rope.
Phelps says he did not know at the moment. More details will come out through the investigation.
