I'm not seeing any videos or pictures of the police with their canine.
Why don't the local police departments bring in the dogs?
They used then back in the 60s and I'm pretty sure they would work today.
If a rioter attacks and kills a canine then charge them with murder.

I think they do not want to use dogs because of the Optics.
It would evoke images of Bull Connor and his police dogs in the sixties being used on civil rights protesters.
The Liberals would have a meltdown at the sight of canines being used against rioters.
I hate to say it but I think there is a strong fear of the left in this country, and what the leftist reaction would be to certain attempts to quell these rioters. There is a fear of what Chris Cuomo and Anderson Cooper and Don Lemon will say about them.

I was kinda hoping for mounted patrol. Just let a horse tapdance on one of the more violent idiot protesters. Would make great entertainment.

I still say the most NON lethal AND effective, would be to turn the fire hoses on them all!
Houston PD has horses and they use them. Some stupid loser protester was looking at her phone and walked backward into a horse. The horse stepped on her. Now she is suing.

Because Dogs were used to supress black civil rights marches in the south in the 50-60’s. The optics of angry dogs being used against predominately black crowds would be horrible.
Using dogs and fire hoses against predominately black crowds isn’t allowed. Too much reminiscent of the bad old days in the 60s. Against a white crowd, they’d be just fine. Doesn’t make sense, but that’s the way it is.
We have them here in Louisville KY too but I haven’t seen them on the live threads. Ooh if their horses are drafts or draft/thoroughbred crosses like ours are that step likely did some damage. Good. Stupid should hurt.
