I was kinda hoping for mounted patrol. Just let a horse tapdance on one of the more violent idiot protesters. Would make great entertainment.
Houston PD has horses and they use them. Some stupid loser protester was looking at her phone and walked backward into a horse. The horse stepped on her. Now she is suing.

Uhm, no, absolutely NOT. Most protests now have at least one or two people in their midst, who quite deliberately carry bags of marbles, specifically to deal with horseback law enforcement. They toss down the marbles, and the horses generally break legs. When I was in undergrad, that was one of the things that was listed right in the Student Activist handbooks: “Always carry a bag of marbles to neutralize mounted patrols.”
