I am trying to set up a security camera for the front gate. I need to hard wire it because out net goes down often out here in the country. NO company I can find can reach over 70 ft hard wired and I need 700 ft.
All I want is a camera with IR back to a monitor in the house. All aside fences are protected with a thick stand of blackberries.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to do this?

Battery powered Wireless with high gain directional antennas.
Do you have any power sources near where you want to mount the camera?
This is a page from just one cam brand but it looks like ifyou can provide power near the camera, you can run longer lengths of video cable back to the house. If there is a light out by the gate, you could probably get the power supply for the camera wired in there.
This might work; seems to run off the cell-phone network.

I use these as a “silent witness” around my property to see if I have 2 legged explorers on my property also good for seeing 4 legged animals as well.
If you need instant notification Dakota Alert wireless alarm works great, for vehicle detection get the metal detection version, bury the probe in your driveway and put the receiver in your house, anytime a car goes into your driveway, you are alerted. These cost about $200 or less online
Neither require internet, wi fi, tons of wiring or IT technical support. And are easy to set up cheap to buy and work.
I know these are not exactly what you are looking for but could be an alternative to something more complex and more expensive.
If you are referring to an IP camera, then you will have problems at that range. Given power at the camera location, you can go to an RF link in the 900 MHz band.
Do you have power avail at the gate location?
Is any low voltage cable already in place between your home and the gate (twisted pair cable, coaxial cable)?
We have the Dakota Alert IR detectors and they are wonderful.
I have the metal detector probe version around my property to detect vehicles. Had them for ever 8 years and replaced the Lithium batteries once, they do last a long time and can go the distance on a large property. A 700ft long driveway would be no problem for them. They might be on the pricey side for $200 a set (transmitter/receiver) but they are built to last and the transmitters are designed to last outdoors. A lot of stuff isn’t even if they manufacturer claims it is

Get an electrician to run electrical wiring underground to near the gate? Not a cheap solution though.

Dakota Alerts for the alarm transmitters, they sell driveway/property alarms, so far, the best I have ever used. They are not cheap but they do last.
For trail cameras, I just buy the cheap Walmart Tasco Trail Cameras, they are NOT live view, but record pictures to a SD Card, up to 32GB in size, 16GB is more then you would ever need. They take 8 AA batteries and last about 6 months. 8MP Cameras, not bad pictures, if you position them right, you can even capture readable tag numbers (license plates)
As for live view cameras, I have used Hikvision but have been slowly replacing them with Ubiquiti Cameras since the software is way better, the cameras are better in the dark and are not china controlled so to speak. Hikvision is a basically owned by the CCP. Hikvision sells under numerous brands in the US, like RCA, Lorex, LTS, Uniden, Hikview, Hiwatch, LaView, Ezviz, many many more, I think over 70 brands.
Ubiquiti is a US Based company out of New York and sell network and security gear to the IT small/medium/enterprise businesses. They have good gear without having to spend Cisco prices.
