We have one dose of toci left in pharmacy. No access to remdisivir. Told IL-6 inhibitors becoming unobtainable. 400 bed non-academic hospital. No clinical trials in hospital. Others experience? We have many hovering cytokine storm. Many will die until these drugs are available. I strongly think these will be shown to be efficacious with due science. Is it best to be admitted to an academic center if you’re really sick with COVID-19 until the research is completed? I’m beginning to think so. Food for thought.

I do believe it is best to be admitted to an academic hospital based on what you said. I don’t believe this is fair but it is the sad reality. One thing to consider is some of the inclusion/exclusion criteria for these studies. A few of the criteria that I am aware of for the remdesivir study is no other concurrent treatment(no HCQ, IL 6 inhibit is), a positive test in the last 4 days, etc.
I do not think it is anemia. I think the virus messes with the rbcs ability to oxygenate. Which is also one of the theories behind hydroxychloroquine helping due to its effect on the porphyrin stuff in rbcs.
I might even consider drawing a couple of units off and transfusing a couple of healthy units. What can you lose?
Only thing that disputes this. Their Po2 is damn low. and correlates with O2 sat. i.e. no “rogue COVID-Hgb” species. But who the hell knows. Damn thing is not natural. WUHAN.

About all they learned from that 2015 experiment, as shown in your first 7 links, was the hypothetical possibility of natural recombination maybe somewhere sometime somehow, and that the Mers spike had five turn-on points and two-turn off points. Big whoop.
But what does that have to do, how is it relevant at all, with any USA involvement in the current 2019 outbreak?
Are you claiming Australian and Japanese and Israeli scientists are wrong and the current pandemic is the exact same artificial virus? Because if you’re not, all the links are immaterial nonsense to the ONLY SUBJECT - where did the virus originate and why did China hide it?

Per the Minnesota Department of Health, they are reporting 2356 positive tests for COVID-19, an increase of 143 cases from yesterday (Saturday).
13 new deaths were reported, raising the statewide total to 134.
1160 individuals with positive tests are no longer isolating, an increase of 22 from yesterday (Saturday).
Between the Department of Health and private labs, a total of 45716 tests have been conducted, an increase of 1348 tests since yesterday (Saturday).
Currently 228 patients are hospitalized for COVID-19, a decrease of 11 from yesterday (Saturday). 116 patients are in ICU, an increase of 5 from yesterday (Saturday).
The median age of all reported cases is 54. The median age of all hospitalized cases is 65. The median age of all deaths is 85.
Of all cases, 51% are female and 49% are male.
By ethnicity, whites comprise 63% of all cases and 75% of all deaths. Blacks comprise 12% of all cases and 4% of all deaths. Hispanics comprise 7% of all cases and 2% of all deaths. Asians comprise 5% of all cases and <1% of all deaths.

So - this article with new research says Covid-19 needs 200 F at 15 minutes to be destroyed! Talk about moving the goal posts. For the last month I have just been putting the mail into a box or the car trunk with an ozone generator.
Those high fiber vegetarian diets are likely to be low in zinc as well. Another facet of the problem.
I wish they’d do some research on situations that regular people are likely to see.
For one example: in a car items could be at 100 degrees for 10 hours.
