Protection requires more that we keep Chinese out of our country, so infected Chinese don't spread future diseases here, than keeping Chinese goods out. Keeping Chinese out means no Chinese students or tourists first, no trade delegations second, etc.
And I would for sure keep out Chinese agricultural products, or any Chinese products whatever intended or used for ultimate human or animal consumption. Do you remember the poisoned pet food which used a prohibited chemical and was deliberately mislabeled by the Chinese exporter? Chinese products are POISON.
There are lots of reasons for prohibitive tariffs on imports from China besides punishment/revenge for CV19. Chinese theft of American technology and trade secrets alone justifies prohibitive tariffs on imports from China.
But the real reason for prohibitive tariffs is PROTECTION from further Chinese epidemics. The epidemics are rooted in the nature of China's Communist regime. This is not the time to go into the latter. But what we really need for protection from further Chinese epidemics is something called:
forced REGIME CHANGE, which we did to the old Soviet Union. We've done it before and we can do it again, and the same means we used against the USSR will work to terminate the Chinese Communist Party - economic warfare on an international scale. And with a World War Two priority.
So we don't just keep Chinese products out of the US, we also keep them out of as much of the rest of the world as possible. That can start with 100% tariffs on any product made anywhere which contains ANYTHING made in China.
More later.
We had a few new meat processing plants report cases today. So we probably currently have a few dozen known plants with issues. All springing up in past two weeks. Now a main fear from two months ago, was this transferring from humans to farm animals. Are these plants getting infected by the animals. We know it transferred to zoo Tigers and house cats. Poor PPE and work conditions probably explains internal plant issues. But if its spreading through farm animals, we have a new issue. Once the infected plants get to 50, it should at least be considered a possibility.
Sounds like Texas will do a limited opening. Curbside pickups only.
I tried taping a coffee filter inside a T-shirt mask — became a total CF, with my exhalations shooting out of the top, etc. A miserable affair.
It was one of tonight’s boned attempts, BTW.
Found the name of patient zero lab worker . its in various news stories. Cant link right now. Saw it on the sun website but forbes also has it
This attacked by a bat story been going on since feb. Somehow i missed it. Bat lady denied yangling worked for the lab as did chen wei.
Bat lady also swore no one has been sick from the lab back in Feb
“WHO warning: No evidence that antibody tests can show coronavirus immunity”
“Who f*cking cares? Montagnier is still a Nobel winner talking about his own specialty.”
Everyone investigating the virus cares. In the world of medical research your claims have to be reproducible by others. No one gives a rat’s ass if you have a Nobel if your new “research” can’t be validated.
And right now no one but Luc Montagnier is saying that SARS-CoV-2 has HIV and/or Ebola inserted in it.
Researchers back in 2003 noted similarities between SARS and HIV-1. That isn’t new and it’s not a sign that the virus is manmade.
me too, not sure why
And we all know there are a lot of people who died in their homes from CV. /sarc
“This is an opportunity for the US to build manufacturing facilities designed for the new SARS Airborne bioweapon virus.”
???
Good lesson with the rust.
Thank you
Hahaha!
“Are these plants getting infected by the animals.”
Yes, they are called PETA.
The other thing is, the key amino acids in the ACE2 receptor, which are all non-consecutive, all changed from known bat coronaviruses to this one, to the "right" amino acid to enhance binding to the human ACE2, all at the same time.
Those *do* coincide with pangolin, IIRC. But when species exchange genetic material, don't they usually exchange continguous patches all at once, rather than enough for spot-mutations of amino acids which enhance infectivity? And the other thing is, I read this week that this virus binds to two other receptors -- one is (IIRC) CD147 and I don't remember the other. I don't remember any papers having examined which AA residues are responsible for that, nor comparing the genetic sequence for that to known bat coronaviruses or pangolins. I think it was the earlier Indian paper, or one shortly after it, that mentioned the filovirus (Ebola) insertions. But that got pulled immediately after intense political pressure -- for *obvious* reasons Panda-trying-to-get-away-with-bioweapon everyone-else-tiptoeing-away-from-nuclear-war. Nice try, troll-boi vermin.
Workers rights’ group = Union influence.
But Bozos who owns Amazon, is a never-Trumper and dumped his wife for a younger looking version of her.
Let them eat their own.
Congrats to you, sir, it must be a great relief. :-D
Best to you and the wife.
We've become quite aware of it from watching you, as you possess neither one.
