An anti-parasitic head lice drug available around the world has been found to kill COVID-19 in the lab within 48 hours.
A Monash University-led study has shown a single dose of the drug Ivermectin could stop the SARS-CoV-2 virus growing in cell culture.
'We found that even a single dose could essentially remove all viral RNA (effectively removed all genetic material of the virus) by 48 hours and that even at 24 hours there was a really significant reduction in it,' Monash Biomedicine Discovery Institute's Dr Kylie Wagstaff said on Friday.
While it's not known how Ivermectin works on the virus, the drug likely stops the virus dampening the host cells' ability to clear it.
The next step is for scientists to determine the correct human dosage, to make sure the level used in vitro is safe for humans.
**SNIP**
Ivermectin is an FDA-approved anti-parasitic drug also shown to be effective in vitro against viruses including HIV, dengue and influenza.

I used to buy it from Tractor Supply for my dogs. It was made for sheep, but its the same stuff. In that particular concentration, 0.1 CC per dog, once per month. With 4 dogs, it lasted me years.
I recently ran out, and tried something different, I got the apple flavored version made for horses. Diluted it with peanut butter, now its 0.1 grams per dog per month, should last me a long while.
I wonder if there will be a run on this stuff....
Used to treat Onchocerciasis in humans.
Does it work on crabs? (Asking for a friend.)
Universally wonder drug. Dose dependent toxicity. Certain dogs have defective gene mutation making them susceptible at STD doses.
Has an oral and a topical version...
Pin worms?
During the fruit fly infestation of the late 80’s, they sprayed Malathion from Helicopters covering entire cities. The head doctor that was under attack by the press for the use of this pesticide, claiming it would KILL everyone, got up, opened a NEW Bottle of Malathion, and DRANK THE WHOLE BOTTLE on LIVE TV. He has given numerous interviews, even 30 years later and he is still alive.
Malathion is NON TOXIC to Humans
Malathion is an organophosphate.
“Death due to malathion poisoning.
Abstract
Malathion is a commonly available insecticide with relatively low toxicity. A study was undertaken in South Australia over a 20-year period to assess the characteristic features of deaths associated with malathion. A total of 5 cases were found, in each of which exposure to malathion had been intentional. The male to female ratio was 2:3 with an age range of 32 to 80 years (mean = 57 yr). In four cases malathion had been ingested and in one case death had resulted from an intravenous injection of insecticide. Ingestion of large volumes of malathion was associated with contamination of the mortuary due to postmortem regurgitation in at least one case.”

Read the MDS Sheet for Malathion.

Get the liquid from Tractor Supply as well. I use the same dosage. Also a couple times a year will go up to .6mg/kg but not over. I tested my dogs for the genetic sensibility before giving it at these levels.
(Ivermectin should not be given to Collies or Shelties or any breed related to them at dosages above what Heartgard has.)
So now folks will head to the drug store and drink RID.
One of the worst smelling insecticides ever made. I spilled some in a toolbox 30 years ago and it still smells like malathion. The smell probably is from the solvents that carried the malathion not the malathion itself. I wonder how long this guy smelled like malathion after he drank a container of it. It probably was a pretty small container or a tank mix.
My sister lives in Africa and D worms every few months. Ill have to run this past her about the ivermectin. She is an MD with a specialty in epidemiology.
Tell your sister to look at the The Lancet. They had an article about repurposing Invermectin to aid in vector control. I think it was last year or the year before. Fairly recent.
I read a phrase the other day, If a researcher cannot kill cancer in a mouse, they are not much of a researcher.
Its stopping disease in humans that is important.
I applaud their work, but we should be cautious when announcing this stuff in the MSM.
Reference bump - Thanks for posting!
Been thinking about getting rid of this head lice anyway.
;-)
ivermectin bkmk
We use Zimecterin Gold on our horses. There's always a few tablespoons remaining in each tube after a horse is dosed. We squeeze out what's left and rub it into our skin like you would do with suntan lotion.
Wife and daughter both work at the local VA Hospital, and daughter had class with some kids at her university that brought the covid back from a spring break orgy in sunny Florida last month. Wife and daughter have been tested negative for the covid. None of us have had even a case of the sniffles all winter.
Here's place you can order horse wormer if you don't have a local source:

***The comments above should be taken as anecdotal information. I'm not a doctor, I don't play one on TV, and I didn't stay at a Holiday Inn last night.***
