I cannot believe our government is considering keeping everything shut down beyond next Monday! That is ridiculous. This is NOT a good decision in my very humble opinion. We've already seen huge damage done for companies by this period we're already in!!
There's a few preppers that have castigated people for not being prepared and have made some pretty unpleasant comments.
There's lots of unpleasantry lately.
I guess it's just human nature.
On FoxNews’ Trump town hall, they’re running an intentionally misleading graphic saying “600 U.S. DEATHS and 18,226 WORLDWIDE DEATHS in the last 24 HOURS! They’re running it the entire program, split-screen, as Trump’s saying we need to get back to work.
GTH Evil FOX bastards.
Is there a reputable source for your mis-information or did you just dream this up on your own?
Trump has not said this at all.
Some people would make good reporters. Not understanding logic and having no common sense are requisite skills for that profession.
Japan stock market is still below it’s previous high, AFAIK.
More important, Americans do not have the patience of Japanese people, and will rebel if economy tanks for more than two quarters.
Ok, that is NOT what he said.
He said we should be back to normal by Easter.
He did not say we are going to be shut down until then.

The amount of hysterical knee jerking around here is phenomenal.
Mind blowing.
And that goes for those who deny the dangers and threats. And for those who overstate and over dramatize the situation.
Maybe...just maybe...families will step up and help each other.
No, the government needs to do your job.
Americans are not only stupid, a lot of them have absolutely no moral compass.
If the country under-reacts and something bad happens good luck on ever seeing a Republican elected again.
When the very air of your neighborhood is contaminated, and your access to healthcare in hospitals is threatened by inundation of mid lifers on vents, it is very noble to cede your existence outside of your home to the higher cause of opening restaurants 2 weeks sooner
Flatten the curve, then assess
It wont happen by Sunday unless chloroquine turns out to be manna from heaven
I’m working, some from home, some from the office.
Hah! Most families have no savings! Programs like SS/Medicare/Medicaid/Food Stamps guaranteed that. If those programs + pensions blow up, the average family can’t support granny and gramps, especially Medically, even if they wanted to!
Have there been any estimates on how many infections the shutdown has prevented, vs. just following precautions you would follow for a flu epidemic?
It’s a delicate balance, and I trust the President to make the decisions.
Well said!
What does it matter what Trump says? Here in California, our Governor has said he may keep the shutdown in effect for 8-12 more weeks. The president can’t order the Governor not to shutdown his state. So it is up to all the Governors how long this thing really lasts, not the President.
Cuba, Venezuela, IranSee a theme?
Germany and Japan came back because of the US taxpayer helping them.
The United States is risen!
“...There’s lots of unpleasantry lately....”
Shouldn’t be.
We have enemies enough as it is; the Left hates ALL of us equally.
One Team, One Fight. Muzzles should point OUT of the perimeter.
