The Tavares Police Department is asking people to bring their methamphetamine to the department to have it tested for the coronavirus.
“With the rising health concerns associated with the Corona virus we are offering free testing of your drugs. Being that a large amount of narcotics come from outside the US, we want you safe. Bring it by our station and we will test your batch within minutes,” a post on the department’s Facebook page.
It's the department's attempt to get meth off the streets in Central Florida, but with a funny twist.
The post was a hit on the department’s page, garnering hundreds of comments, shares and reactions.
No word on if anyone has showed up for a test.

I hope as many recreational pharma users participate in this vital outreach program. It’s important to stop as many disease vectors as possible. I applaud this proactive public health initiative.

Being that many prescription meds and ingredients for meds come from China, legitimate prescriptions need to be checked. too.

Johnson City Tx yesterday put out a similar warning to meth heads. ......one of my favorites by cops is the old, you won the local lottery. Please come down to the lottery collection center to claim your prize.

At this moment, active cases have dropped by 518 so far today.
The Mortality Rage has dipped below 6.00% for the first time, and now rests at 5.94%.
Police are doing this everywhere.
