The pervy jogger who slapped a TV reporters behind during a 10K in Georgia has been identified by officials and banned from future races.
Race organizers had immediately vowed to find the handsy creep who left WSAV-TV anchor Alex Bozarjian feeling violated, objectified, and embarrassed while she reported on Saturdays Savannah Bridge Run.
Yesterday afternoon we identified him and shared his information with the reporter and her station, the Savannah Sports Council tweeted, without revealing his name publicly.
We will not tolerate behavior like this at a Savannah Sports Council event, the council said in another post. We have made the decision to ban this individual from registering for all Savannah Sports Council owned races.

And she foolishly stood on the course for one of these hacktastic local news standups.
He swatted her. There was no time to "grab" anything. In context with what everyone else was doing he clearly thought he was being funny. Again she could have PRIVATELY found him and demand he apologize or else. But she throws him right to the wolves and doesn't even give him a chance to respond or apologize before he's torn apart.
“He did something that he thought was funny”
—
“Your honor, I did this to a woman who is complete stranger to me because I thought it would give me a giggle”.
That's how it works. John Wayne comes in with the flying knee. No need to apologize, he's unconscious. Any reasonable man would do the same. Now, the 'twitter mob' engages. Just as you would do to defend your wife.

“Your honor, she was standing there, so I had the right to commit simple assault on a stranger.” Not sure that would sell either if she decides to go ahead with pressing charges.
Remember when we were young everyone said dont make a Federal case out of it? Nowadays, everything is a Federal case.
It was an unwise thing to do on his part, but on the other hand let’s get real. BFD.
She’s making out like it’s bloody sexual assault. And so are the rest of the perpetually offended.
He didnt grab her ass, he slapped her ass. Its the end of the world.
Nope. John Wayne watches his wife. If she laughs it off and says "no big deal it was all in fun" John Wayne says ok. If his wife is a perpetually offended crybaby John Wayne says "Quit being a crybaby". If his wife is TRULY offended John Wayne asks the guy to apologize. The guy does and says "Sorry I had no idea that it would be taken that way. I am so sorry". John Wayne doesn't kill him for swatting his wife on the butt.
It was a REPORTER at a FUN EVENT. Not stranger in in church. She was literally MAKING herself part of the story by inserting herself almost literally into the path of the runner so the camera could GET their reaction as they RAN BY THE CAMERA.
Blame the ‘victim’. She deserved it, nothing to worry about and I don’t care. Chivalry is dead in America. Your answers prove it.
She's not the "victim" in this story. She got a swat in the butt. He got death threats from a bloodthirsty mob and will likely lose his job and reputation.
Jeez. Everyone around this just needs to calm down. It’s like saying a high five is and assault.
Dude, we got it. She was there to be touched. That was her role. Nothing like swatting some strangers ass as you run by for giggles, even though your a grown ass man.

“so, therefore, you Honor, it was my God-given right - if not my duty - to get me some behind from a stranger! Maybe if I demonstrate on your Honor’s daughter, would that help my case?
You know that's not my argument. My argument is that it's a disproportionate response to a relatively harmless action. Extremely disproportionate.
Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.
Anyone who doesn’t think this was a douche move on his part should move in next to Joe the Sniffer.
It was creepy and unnecessary. She didn’t know him, they weren’t flirting at a club. Since when it is okay to put your hands on a stranger? It’s not!
You are perverting and twisting what actually happened.
“Shes making out like its bloody sexual assault.”

If she decides to press charges, it actually is assault. Simple assault of one sort or another. She could choose to take a settlement and the idiot ends up paying for her kid’s (if she has any) dentist bills for years to come.
