One in four children in Germany suffers from mental illness, a new study of patient data from German health insurance company DAK released Thursday revealed.
The survey of child and teenager mental health was based on data collected from 800,000 children insured by DAK in 2016 and 2017.
The data indicated that 24% of children display psychological anomalies. Just under 2% of children between the ages of 10 and 17 is diagnosed with depression and 2.2% with an anxiety disorder.
According to DAK, extrapolating their patient data onto Germanys total population of 10- to 17-year-olds would mean a total of 238,000 children suffering from these conditions.
The data also showed that the rate of child depression was up 5% in 2017 from the year before. [ ]
Girls are twice as likely as boys to suffer from depression, with a distinct divergence in the data starting at age 14.

Boy now I feel like a hypocrite.
I do think motorcycle riders should wear helmets.
I guess I can’t have it both ways and wearing a helmet should be a personal choice too.
“Boy now I feel like a hypocrite.”
LOL, I can’t help you now!
I do wonder with motorcycle helmets how many accidents were avoided due to not wearing on, and thus being able to be better aware of one’s surroundings. I’ve never any numbers, but I wouldn’t be surprised if there is some correlation between accident rate, and whether a helmet was worn.
I know Greta’s Swedish but hey, there’s your answer.
Climate anxiety. It seems nuts to us, but that’s a major cause of psychological problems with younger people nowadays. They have been brainwashed in schools to think that their future is doomed and they have no hope. And of course add that to atheism and the nasty problems associated with the migrant boom in their midst, it all adds up to a nightmare.
Thanks, globalists, you really know how to take care of the kids, huh?
Peripheral vision. Helmets limit that.
It’s gotta block the view to some extent, I would imagine.
I take it back!! :)
So we now have evidence as to the condition of the rat followers
RE: Seat Belt Regulations
In Michigan, a driver can be pulled over and issued a ticket with a hefty fine solely for not wearing a seat belt. Yet a motorcyclist doesn’t have to wear a helmet riding on a vehicle that structurally has no seat belt. This situation is Exhibit A on why “The law is a ass.” Is it any wonder that children who grow up in today’s world wind up nuts?
Liberalism provides no hope.... Global Warming no hope....No prospects for the future, no hope.
5.7% of German population is Muslim, 7% have mental problems. Figures about right to me. In other words, all the muslims, the rest have about 1%.
“Anyone got an idea why?
Are they over diagnosed?
Too many split families?”
Germans love abc acceptance of an invading Muslim army? The smart Germans that complain and fight against this invasion are labeled Neo-Nazis. Enough to make anyone crazy
+1
GMTA
Well, knowing the odds of getting raped by an "Asian" tends to do that
There is also the idea that wearing the protection whether seat belts or helmets makes some drive or ride bolder or with more aggression because the protection gives them a sense of invulnerability. Ergo accident rates go up. Go figure. Just another of lifes little ironies.
btt
Germans have always been a sick lot. Just glance at their porn preferences.

That wouldn’t surprise me. It’s already a given to the insurance companies that anti-lock brakes and traction control is causing people to drive more aggressively, since they’re now ‘protected’.
“Peripheral vision. Helmets limit that.”
Even more than that, swinging one’s head side to side becomes more of an effort...so less of that too.
